As I'm sure you can probably tell, *its not supposed to sound this heavily loud and distorted.* Bugbear screwed up the sounds when porting this game over to PC compared to its original Xbox 360 release. Compare the sounds from this to videos of the Xbox 360 version and you can hear the difference.
I hope Bugbear gets back to this kind of racing. Wreckfest was and still is a shit ton of fun with an amazing physics engine, but I hope Wreckfest 2 or whatever will see us getting back into street or racing circuits with a moreFlatOut style approach.
a bit funny thing, cuz they say on IGCD that Venom/Speedevil is Javelin. although on Flatout sites they say it's 69 Mustang. Checked these out myself and i'd keep my vote on mustang - just look at the roofline that's just my opinion tho
yeah me too, most people seem to not like them though personally one of my favourite things about UC is how even from a few car-length's away, you can still hear the engines of the other cars. it makes for extremely tense gameplay, particularly if you're in a situation like you're on your last lap, you're in 1st place but you're about one or two hits away from being wrecked, and then you hear Jason's Speedevil revving up right behind you getting closer and closer to you. it's absolutely terrifying and unfortunately those moments just don't exist in FO2
naidedossantos500 All Flatouts are great except Flatout 3 and 4. But "theDriver637" is right. The sense of speed and physics feel a little lacking. The most important version of a game is its unmodded/vanilla version. If we use mods in a game, it is either because we are bored of the same thing or because a feature of that game is missing.
@@MinecraftvsBurnout nah, for me sense of speed is better than in fo2, because cars are not so light, and because of wallride. Plus i personally like handling damage, sadly it was only for multiplayer

You're right. Listened to Malice a little... and i was always thinking they did it on purpose. Ain't sounds that bad, but still 360 are way better
I think I remember playing something like this game on PSP. I can feel the nostalgia already.
FlatOut : Head on
@@Hrucopotam how’d you know?
@@mecharaptor8.535Basically just a portable hand held FOUC, so quite popular.
The Iddle engine sound of Flat Out series is Awesome! thanks for showing all the cars

A great remake for the first entry in this series. Wonderful sounds.
You mean the second game
One of the best racers ever
Pc version of ultimate carnage has the very worst car sounds. On xbox 360 them better

the distorted sounds are cooler imo, makes your car sound more powerful

Raw sounds are the best imo
I don't think so.
am i only one who loves this disorted sounds?
35:00 Plymouth GTX 1971, in FlatOut 2 it looks more like cuda
Someone needs to mod the console sounds to PC.
chili scares me because of its sound, for some strange reason
I don't remember them sounding this way on my disc release...
They released an update, the sound is know fixed
How did you make stunt cars to drive and handle as good as Rocket?
mod menue
First car sound is literally jumpscare 💀
I hate this game

@@naidedossantos500 Not the other one, but this one because it doesnt have the same speeds as the previous game
