Certainly one you won't forget for many reasons Kenny 😮 Scotland at it's finest 🌞🏔️🏔️⛺ a wee lesson for us all, hopefully your back out and about soon atb Brian 👍
Well a video with some drama. First really pleased your fall wasn’t too bad and that you were able to get a lift back and sort a second set of keys. Your video was excellent. I enjoyed the narration and I thought the music was a good choice particularly the track for the sunrise. I imagine you felt some ambivalence as the conditions were superb, the views stunning and a brilliant spot for a campsite. The annoyance, I would imagine, was thinking about your keys then focusing your eyes on the track all the way back down. Anyway it was a lovely video to watch and I hope it hasn’t dented your enthusiasm in anyway. Bet you will be double/tripple checking your keys are tucked away safe on your next walk!
Thanks for watching and commenting on the video Charles, ypu were spot on with the mixed feelings aspect...could not have wished for better conditions or an environment too. The fall near the end just confirmed that one can happen anywhere and at anytime. The crack on the head has not curbed the enthusiasm and I am hoping to be out and about as soon as the tender bits are fully functioning. The keys will be on my mind at all times and the scar will serve as a wee reminder along with the £200 replacement bill... Best wishes and ATB for 2024. Kenny
Thank you for watching video and taking time to comment too. Yes injuries healing well and just one if those accidents that can happen anytime. ATB Kenny
Thanks for watching the video and feedback... absolutely, I got very lucky with the lift from Peter as it helped put a silver lining to end the outing. ATB Kenny
Wow! What an epic adventure, Kenny. Hope the head/knee/elbow/shoulder and whatever else recover soon. Awesome shots with the drone of Beinn Alligin and surrounding hills, spectacular! Thanks for uploading. ATB. 🏴🏔👍
Thanks Nick, yeah spot on the views were superb all around. The clear night sky and melodic sounds from the wind as it crested the ridge was very nice too. thanks for viewing the video and feedback. ATB for 2024. Kenny
Wow Kenny! The views on your video were absolutely incredible! Dare i say almost worth losing your keys and a wee fall for?! Admire your calm sensible approach to everything too nothing seems to faze you at all! Can tell it's your 3rd round of the munros you look so comfortable in the hills. Wishing you a speedy recovery Kenny Take care oot there Theresa 😊
Thank you kindly Theresa, yeah I was a wee bit phased on the return leg though as things compounded. I got lucky with the fall as things could have been worse. I was more annoyed that most people I met confirmed that their mobile phone service was available. I am with 3 and there was not signal across the two days lol. Anyway I was fortunate to be able to enjoy the views and the camera captured some nice footage for a wee video to share and look back on. Thanks for watching the video and ATB for 2024.
@@scottishkennyg That's unfortunate you had no signal for 2 days Kenny. I guess it is something to consider when you hike alone. As you say your fall could have been worse! Thankfully all is well and hope you are recovered from the experience and back out on the hills soon. Looking forward to future videos. Wishing you well Theresa 😊
@@scottishkennyg I meant to add I absolutely love Torridon mountains and your video captured their beauty perfectly! I've heard Torridon described as God's country and i think i would second that!
Hi Kenny, absolutely stunning mate, what views. Beinn Alligin is one impressive mountain Nightmare about your car keys. I must admit It's always one thing I'm paranoid of doing. I've started putting them in a dry bag and stuffing them right to the bottom of the pack! Glad to see no serious injury was done on your heed. All the best mate, thanks as always for sharing your adventure Dave
Thanks Dave, yeah the heid is still intact just a new experience line on the forehead. And the keys are replaceable. Thanks for watching the video and taking time to feedback too. ATB for 2024 Kenny
That’s an eventful one Kenny. Looked a stunning camp. Shame about the fretting over the keys. Done that myself to. Hope your on the mend and back out again soon. Cheers 👍
Hi Kenny, get well soon. Was out on Beinn Narnain at the weekend for a wild camp also. After taking my spikes on on the rocky lower slopes on the way back to Arrochar, fell over on the ice covered rocks and path too many times. Cracked my right knee and made it a very slow descent after that. Not enjoyable I can tell you.
Happy New Year Kenny.... or should that be Harry! What amazing views all through the video, thanks for sharing. Sorry for all your troubles, glad you got home OK and hope you recover quickly from your injuries ATB Kevin & Rebecca
Hi Kenny, you got me worried there mate glad you’re ok. Lots of disasters have happened to me over the years and I nearly lost my car keys once they had fallen out of my rucksack when I had stopped for something to eat silly because I realised that there was a built in clasp inside the rucksack for attaching keys 😂 Anyway another time whilst climbing the great CADER IDRIS Snowdonia when I got back to the car the lake had burst its banks and my car along with others was floating in the middle of the lake (Llyn) nightmare cos I live in South Wales car was a right off my wife wasn’t happy anyway you got to say to yourself worse things happen at sea. Cracking video amazing views a trip you won’t forget not just for the views superb 👌
Thank you Andrew, wow that must have been some sight when you returned from an epic day to discover the car was in the lake..Hopefully you got home safe and sound and your good lady has realised that you did not plan that one...🙄. Thanks for watching the video and ATB for 2024. Kenny
