I'm so very interested in such great talent. They do not get the recognition they deserve. The Moody's are one of the greatest bands I've ever heard. God bless you Justin and John
for all the happiness you bring thru your music. Also bless Ray and Graham. 🙏🏻🌹♥️ 🎸

The best interview I've seen so far. Such history of the greatest band ever.

I really appreciate the description that John and Justin gave of the sound effects. They were hands on, like a live stage show, so real and honest

This was a great interview and a great idea to have them go through each album like that. Wow, imagine Justin, John, Graeme, Ray and Mike sitting down and going through each album, discussing their memories. What a wonderful thing that would be. Thanks so much for posting this. I really enjoyed it.

Must watch for any Moody Blues fan. Hayward and Lodge discussing their material album by album. Love the Hayward comments about dealing with success after 7th Sojourn around 11:40. They alone are worth watching the video and his comments about Caught Live +5 and Octave.

Such a great interview. Loved hearing about their beginnings and going through their albums. Probably my mos favourite band of all times. Sad that they were so under-rated. People don't know what they missed!

Agree. Some Artist & Groups get pushed on Radio Play more then The Moody Blues.

I'm not sure they were ever under-rated. In their hey day they were filling huge stadiums just like the Stones. Pretty well known to be ablel to do that on a regular basis. I can't call that under rated. Perhaps by critics, but they don't have much good to say about anyone. The hundreds of thousands of world wide fans, though - the fans Never under rated them. We knew what we had and it was great.😍😍😍😍

Stu, John and Justin, this video was well connected to your story about the progression of the band and the sound of The Moody Blues! Great posting !

This was a great interview. I particularly like the parts about creating special sound effects. I once did a puppet show about the solar system and the astronaut (dog) goes to planet Jupiter. He then meets a large spanish speaking cow and accidentally drops his spanish dictionary into the great red spot. This is when I used the sound of a toilet bowl flushing to simulate the sound of really fast counter clockwise producing winds. LOL

Awwww.... they skipped right over In Search of a Lost Chord. I wanted to hear about Ray singing Timothy Leary :)

I have never heard them play anything from the Present in a live show. I've attended several concerts from as far back as the early 90s, and scoured live recordings... Never understood why they have ignored that album, in their concerts.

If you go by the rules of the rock and roll hall of fame the Moody Blues should have been inducted in 1990 instead of 2018 but somehow the one hit wonder beastie boys were inducted before the moody blues. What is wrong with this picture? This is why i call it The rock and roll hall of shame. It is absurd That it took 53 years for the Moody Blues to get inducted after a career of doing their own music and doing it their way. How sad

I usually follow the "never believe anything you hear and only half of what you see" saying, but I had to add my two cents here. Apparently, one of the "higher ups" in the RRHOF personally did not enjoy their music. This person retired in the mid 20teens and that is why they were FINALLY allowed to be voted in. Talk about biased!
