- In 2001, M&M brought out crispy M&Ms for a while. They were very similar to current pretzel M&Ms except they came in a blue package.
This is one of the anthropomorphic M&M commercials, one of the Crispy M&Ms tries to convince Deidrich Bader to see things his way. Mr. Bader obliges and sees a bowl full of people. He continues munching, indicating to Orange that he is eating his relatives and friends.
This spot aired during the episode "Return to la Grunta" of King of the Hill on FOX on Tuesday, February 23rd, 1999.

I remember when this first came out. I was 7. And because of this commercial every time I ate crispy m&m's I'd always leave one out and eat the other ones and say what he said in this commercial.

a friend of mine and I plan to remake this commecial using Diedrich Bader's character, Master Rex Kwon Do (from Napoleon Dynamite)!!! Of course, my friend who does an x-cellent imitation of Diedrich and Jon Heder (who plays Napoleon).
