Would be funny if instead of banning them they were sent to the prison, but could not escape in that there was some custom programming that had guards who shot you just as you were about to get out if you tried the break out option, or the machines would not let you circumvent the system by buying your way out. In short just stuck in prison for 3 months till they went insane! Imagine 600 people all stuck in prison going insane and the carnage that would ensue. 🤣😂🤪🤭

They banned people who were selling Auec outside of the game for real money.
I dunno, I get the ban and yes they should do it. The problem is I feel like they should have warned people before banning. I assume this is the first time they have done a mass ban?
some sort of warning should have been posted to everyone, then those who are affected should be banned for a week, and so on
But the police doesn't go talk to drug dealers telling them "ok we know there is a new load coming in somewhere, but don't trade it, we are watching you!"
It's not just that both legally as well as in terms of ToS, ignorance does not exempt you of guilt, it's also that not warning people is the best way to catch the worst of the worst off-guard.
Cheating is prohibited in the ToS. They were warned, as was everyone else.
I get it, I do. BUT just because it is in the service agreement doesn't mean the stupid people in the village won't do it as an easy out... Just saying make is stupid clear you will get banned for doing X Y Z... Ps I didn't get banned so I am just defending the mentally deficient 😂 or greedy etc.
If someone has to get warned not to abuse things and be a asshole. They deserve the ban, its simple. They clearly didnt ban people who did only use the exploits once or twice. Its about the excessive use. Everyone knows this is wrong.

im just worried that since they banned a bunch of people that people will start doing to this game what they did to COD with all the hacking and mods that work around the security of the server.

I dont know, duping in an ALPHA that isn't finished and needs to be tested.... then banning the ones that tested and found the dupe...
They banned people who were duping to make a lot of Auec then selling it on a third party site for IRL money.
There is a difference between testing and then reporting, and abusing repeatedly for self gain. Also they were suspensions, for 3 months.. not bans.
Nah. Not found the dupe. Going through specific steps to replicate the dupe and exploiting it for a long period of time. Thats not testing. They watched these accounts for a while to have irrefutable proof. There are ppl that DID intentionally dupe that weren’t banned because they didn’t do it as badly as the ones that were. It was a careful decision by cig.

It was mostly the people doing RMT with the duped money. Selling the credits for irl money
