I would agree. The iPhone generated over $200 billion in sales for Apple in the 2022 fiscal year. I doubt they would get rid of their biggest product by revenue.
This video is a great example that people will watch anything on RUclips that shines (high budget gear + set, good editing etc.) no matter the content itself. AR goggles and phones have very little competition with each other. AR/VR is the next big thing of this decade in consumer electronics, but it won't affect the phone market in any significant way.
When I am on the go, I am not gonna just take out my fucking VR goggles to check the time or text a friend. I would rather just take out my phone. The phone market is saturating, I think the whole craze about cameras and how well they look is getting boring. I just think this whole one phone every year is gonna die out. People will realize that each year, the phone barely changes and just keep one until it breaks. Apple has to do something other than pretending like they are changing an innovating every single time. Phones will still exist, but will sell a lot less. TL:DR.
It seems a foregone conclusion that glasses would overtake any handheld unit, if it can technically be done. We already use and hold and stare at our phones for hours every day, eliminating the need to hold it and being able to cycle through visible physical information and technological information such as translation, video, perhaps linking to other people, say having the ability to link up to your wife and her glasses and what she sees, the world information aggregate able and accessible instantly, etc. My concern comes from the censorship and entire control over information on the hall. It will get to a point where there will be no dissent Because information won’t even be arguable. It’s similar to history is written by the victors, except no way to research any alternative
The VR headset and goggles are a joke, but I think it’s very hard to argue against glasses or some type of lightweight lens. At some point it will completely eliminate the need for anything handheld
One of the many problems with Google Glass was that lots of people need prescription glasses, and a significant fraction of them need to be pretty picky about the fit and weight of glasses. (I get nasty headaches if my glasses fit is off by just a tiny bit, and most glasses frames are just too heavy (and also cause nasty headaches and earaches and sore bridge of my nose). Apple has pretty clearly not really taken seriously the possibility that people might want to use their phones outside in places where hats, scarves, and gloves are mandatory, so I have very little faith that they will adequately consider the needs of the 64-71% of adults [in the US] who already wear (prescription) glasses.
@@Amari_J I was worried before I tried them, but now I absolutely love the freedom from my glasses, especially during physical activities. For instance years ago I was wearing my glasses at the beach, and when I got in the ocean, a random rogue wave knocked them off and they were gone. Try them If you can get past your fear. You'll get used to them soon, then wonder why you waited so long!
Probably a couple decades from a full phone replacement, but the glasses will be a lot like the watch for a good 10-15 years. Excellent companion device.
@@joan7094 I don’t believe the technology is there yet. It will be, but not in 2023. Assuming we don’t destroy ourselves, i think an ar device will eventually be able to turn any book or object in your hand into a phone… but not in 2023
yes. I think when they released the iphone it was different, because before the iphone if someone wanted to go to, lets say, the mall, they would likely bring car keys, wallet, phone, ipod, and maybe something else. but now we can already do all that in one device. the idea of “only bring one thing” already exists. some cars and doorbells can be opened with an iphone. iphones have apple pay or other apps to replace your wallet, and now they can also carry identification. obviously your phone can call, text, play music, etc. so really all you NEED to bring is an iphone. even things you would usually do on a computer, like browse the internet or edit a document, can mostly be done on your phone. and newer phones have the chips needed to do minor photo/video editing. iphones already replaced anything else you’d take with you.
I honestly don't think that this will happen. This channel has gotten several predictions proved wrong (such as "why the iPhone 14 won't come out"), and I think that this will be another one. And also, what do you think would happen to the mobile gaming industry?
@@alexhein1738 True, but not in like 5 or 10 years. In 5 or 10 years, sure, AR glasses will be popular, but they will still not be as practical as a phone until around 30 or so years into the future.
I like the idea of projecting multiple screens anywhere, even looking down on to the surface of a table top (could make a good Cintiq replacement). I guess my only worry would be exposing my eyes for longer durations at closer proximity to a light emitting lens
I don’t see physical phones going anywhere but I do think that the glasses could happen and if they could tie in the iPhone too the glasses in a unique and useful, convenient way then I will for sure buy them. But I will not pay some crazy price for them. If it comes available like the iPhone where I can go to Verizon and do a payment plan for 20-40 bucks a month I see this being a huge hit. I also hope they have options to get prescription lenses with insurance and also possibly a discount with insurance for people with eye prescription’s would be a must need
I must admit seeing how Google Glasses was literally in beta at one point but ultimately got abandoned, I am a bit surprised to hear that Apple is this serious about developing something similar. I think in a decade or two this may be close to happening but my iphone 11 ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
While I am leaning towards you being absolutely right from what happened with Google, a part of me reckons that if any company can do it, it's Apple. Google lack the kind of commitment and Branding power Apple has for their products. They were the most valuable company just last year.
Unless they really pack a punch with the use and functionality for their VR, I feel like it will have tough competition with the established companies. Similar to how they made expensive Apple TVs, even after Amazon fire sticks took a good stance in the market. I’m Interested to see how it goes.
true but the only real rivals are Meta and vive. Meta is a complete joke, and has somehow stepped backwards in innovation ever since it took over oculus. Vive is still very gamer centered, unlike the Meta, it targets a niche rather than trying to convince people its a device for everyone. As much of an “Android” fan I am, I have to admit that apple does indeed innovate. Having an actual large “tech” company take interest in such areas is awesome for the future of vr/ar. (plus it might put zuckerberg even deeper into decline OwO )

My house has 3 apple tv’s in it. It’s all we use. They’re fantastic devices and I wouldn’t trade them for any fire stick regardless of the price difference. It’s a way WAY better product
I'm just starting to learn iOS development to make iPhone apps, I'm scared because my new skills might soon be irrelevant, but at same time I might be able to carry that knowledge over for Vision Pro if it takes off and replaces the iPhone.
I think a headset would need to be an extension to the iPhone, rather than replace it. Especially if they package it into something more sleek - it'll need to source the computation power from somewhere/something else on the person.
Google tried the glasses thing a few years back. They dropped it after unexpected backlash. Apparently people took offense to the cameras in the glasses recording everything.
No. I don’t think people will ever stop using the phones 100%. I think one part will choose to keep using the phones but the other part will choose the headset. I’m photo sensitive, so the headset for me is a bad idea besides, having something that close to the eyes is probably not the best idea to anyone .But it’s too early to say anything.
I have been suffering with severe light sensitivity since 2010 & I have to have a special blue light blocking coating on my glasses to look at my iPhone, computer screen, etc. When I did not have this on my glasses for about a year, it caused narrowing (damage) to my optic nerves!!!
You will when it gets to that point lol. People thought the iPhone was ridiculous back in 2007 and 2008, and now look. iPhones everywhere. Evolution is inevitable.
The biggest problem with this vision in my mind is battery. Although there have been huge advancements in certain areas, batteries have more or less stagnated. We still have apple watches that can't even go 2 days. The current augmented reality goggles have about 90 minutes of battery. How on earth will you get a full day of battery into a pair of glasses? There will have to be some huge, unforeseen leaps in batteries, unless you want a chord going from your glasses into your pocket or something...
I think keeping the iPhone (and especially the iPad) around alongside the mixed reality devices is a better decision, because I find the mixed reality concept fascinating, but until Apple has a good idea of how this tech is used in the real world, and compare it to their existing products, I don’t think deleting the iPhone, or any mainstream Apple product is a good idea. And personally, I’d much rather use these new devices with each other, and even alongside non-Apple products and devices, instead of relying on just Apple, or just one Apple device for everything! Even if it CAN do everything, I don’t want to just stick to one device or one company! But like I said, I’m eager to see this new mixed reality device! (I do hope whatever it is, I can still adjust privacy settings like any other device!)
Don't worry, there's no chance any company in the world, not even one as cocky as Apple, are going to get rid of a product that makes them billions of dollars each year.
i just switched to apple iphone 12 mini not 4 days ago. if iphone is ending support is it still in production? because i woundnt be happy if my 12 mini got broken and i coudent get a replacement.
The logistics of interfacing with both one’s surroundings and the headset controls, sound daunting at best. What, no more joysticks or keyboards? The foofarah will have us looking back wistfully on the loss of the headphone jack. And be forewarned… If thousands of people begin strolling about in public with expensive, reality isolating headsets on…. The resulting crime wave will be awe inspiring.
I think the first generation headsets will be a Niche Product but if Apple does shrink the tech to fit in thick eye glass format it will sell pretty well. Gamers will love it & certain Medical, Industrial & Military applications will make it useful.
First gen headsets? We are well past first gen -headsets have been around for nearl 30 years already. People who wear glasses can tell you how much it sucks to wear glasses all the time and the general population won't want to do that. Medical industry is a very limited and niche sector (already being done in small capacity - first death due to device malfunction = end of it being used in medicine) military has been using ar, huds etc since the 80s. Gamers have proven to not love it hence why it has not been mass adopted yet and game development is about 10 years behind in the sector.
Apple is not well known for gaming. I highly doubt they will make a product that is going to work out of the box with Steam. No gamer is going to be buying an Apple product.
@@xe-wf5iv ------ Why do people continue to repeat this absurd meme? Apple App Store and Google Play stores dwarf anything in Xbox store or Sony store. In 2021 App Store revenue was 85.1 billion and games accounted for 2/3 of the revenue. That means games for Apple are a 57 billion dollar business. Microsoft Xbox software revenues were a total 6.3 billion. That makes App Store revenue for that tiny little company that "isn't well known for games" nine times larger than revenue for Microsoft's cute little Xbox store.
When Google Glass was in pilot, I had one to tryout for six months. Abject failure because having images in one’s field of view was horrible. Augmented Reality could be great in a wide range of commercial applications, but it seems highly unlikely to replace phones.
Lots of problems with google glass, lack of battery power, you could get beat up or get it stolen if you used it in America, and Chinese & ASEAN were too poor to buy it 10 years ago. Today the screen can be made opaque or translucent more easily, Chinese are richer, the cost is lower, and the battery problems can be fixed more easily because of better solar panels and batteries and off-loading processing to the cloud, and I believe wearable keyboard/gyro-mouse tech is better/more accurate.
Also another problem was pricing. Google glass cost less than $100 to make but they charged $1,500. There is a difference between needing to make a profit and straight up price gouging.
but we all know crapple can do it 🙄 lmfao for $5000 im sure theyll sell you something that'll literally fall apart in days just like their over ear headphones. and make em look ugly and bland as sin as well. perfect for people with more money than personaility or common sense.
@@aoeu256 Valid issues but none of those are reasons why AR isn't going to replace phones. It's a different way to interface with media. A phone you can put in your pocket and forget about it, you can show things to people with ease, it's basically a camera with an internet connection, you can set it down on a table and watch content with someone, while AR goggles are basically just useful for having a real-life game UI. Imagine wanting to show your friend a meme you saw and having to take off your glasses and give it to them, or having to crouch and tilt your head in a weird way to take a photo, not being able to take selfies, or how uncomfortable it would be to lie on your bed wearing goggles. AR will definitely be a thing, but it won't replace phones entirely.
@@rayan_a7673 I was a early adopter of the iPhone. Been an iPhone user since week one. So no, That’s not the problem I am having. I (personally) just don’t see the utility in AR - as a developer and music creator this is zero percent interesting to me
There is a higher chance for the glasses to replace the iPhone then the VR/AR headset. I do wonder though how those glasses will work since the battery limit will be quite huge and also the tech specs or would it be something like a satellite direct link only for Apple devices where the true hardware and power is or something like that? While the battery will be charging from the sunlight or the light outside or inside the room since that is quite important too. I would personally like to see something like a an VR/AR/AI type of glasses that can be worn 24/7 and to charge themselves from natural sources like light or sunlight and also direct connection link to a satellite that will make a stable link with the true hardware somewhere in a hardware/server type of room. Now that would be a huge advance.
First of all, I am happy that the battery life of future iPhones will be much, much better. I don’t know how much better, but I’m glad to hear it anyway. I am totally blind person who uses the iPhone because the screen reader is built right in. I haven’t tried the Apple Mac as yet as far as the computer is concerned, but I intend to very soon. it is the use of VoiceOver and Siri commands that I hope is improved in future iPhones, because I want to stress that blind people are edging toward this product specifically because it makes us more independent. so Apple should realize that blind people are among their best customers! having said that, I am also slightly interested in this new camera that is being inserted in the new iPhone 15. This is great news. I would also like to see a tripod created for the iPhone, so when I am showing somebody something, I don’t have to focus the camera specifically on it but can hold it up in front of the camera and know that it is being the focus of that camera. I don’t know what to think about the glasses that are being created, but if they work for me, believe me I will buy them. but mainly it is the artificial intelligence aspect of all this that appeals to me. Anything that could make me feel as if I’m actually regaining my vision, so to speak.
@@andreidragomir4460 it is true that the iPhone has an incredible battery, but since using voice over commands and such uses more battery life than usual, that shortens the battery life for me. I’m sure that you are used to the iPhone allows for a long, long time before you have to charge. But that’s not the same for me.
Wouldn’t it be easier if they offloaded some of the processing the new headset requires into an iPhone(like they do with all other Apple accessories) in order to make the glasses less bulky?
You need super high res screens for AR to not feel jarring. And you cant drive a super high res screen at a high frame rate wirelessly like that. At least not currently
a product replacing a major one requires it to be more feature-full and easier to interface with. the touchscreen was revolutionary. but if we can control something using our hands in the air or by thought, that would be a new major product I think
I think it'll be our eyes. We use our eyes for a lot, and they change as we focus on different things. We can slide, tap, blink, and whatever hand gestures can do
@@runo4155 sounds like you can't hold that up for too long. we humans look at things directly and focused on 1 point, we don't wave our eyes around like we can do with arms/fingers. that would be disorienting and you get tired of it really fast.
I wear prescription glasses, I notice you do as well. I can’t walk around without them on, so whilst having these glasses is cool sounding, it would probably cost a fortune to have them work with lenses I need to see. It’s why I haven’t personally bothered with 3D glasses at the cinema, or VR. I also don’t trust VR LED screens that close to my eyes. I work in electronics, we use protective eyewear for bright LEDs.
It would be ideal if it was a temple piece only with eye retina projector pieces that could be positioned like antenna wires in front of the eyes. Maybe all you would have to do is look into these projectors to see the AR. Alternatively, a holographic glass, very transparent, non-glossy where each holo-pixel can be programmed to show an image only in the user's eyes and invisible to the world. Maybe an eye tracker on the rim and a computer in the temples. A wrap around visor maybe a few centimeters away from the face; my preferred audacious new fashion. There would be a bunch of wearable technologies that are minimally intrusive or distracting. Maybe adornments.
No way something like this is going to be minimally distracting when you're crossing the road. Drivers already have problems with people wandering around like zombies because they're staring into their phones, totally oblivious if what's going on around them. It would be 10 times worse if these were the norm. In fact it would be so bad they would probably be banned as unsafe for use outdoors.
My question is - how in the world did Samsung figure out how to make a magical wand? A magic wand. An ACTUAL magic wand. The scary part is how small these wands, or S - pens are.
Well, I hope it’s made to fix your eyesight to boot. Can’t imagine having wearable tech and needing to bring a second pair of glasses with me to see. The street crossing and driving while inTechicated comes to mind for me. I may just have to upgrade to 15 and be happy with it. 🤗
8:10 gotta be honest a slight curve on the bezel and sides of the device would look awesome! but yea an 'apple iPhone _ fold' is something ive wanted for a awhile. even the oval shape on the right side of the 13/14 looks like the magnetic part for the pencil - and that would be a reason to bring the fold in - basically the ipad mini and iphone mashed together for on the go artists like me! I also think a flip design makes no sense (but Ive also envisioned an iCam device before - i like photos too, and they already had a run for the music-lovers of the world with the ipod, I think an all-out, beefy camera-based device would be awesome)
In some futuristic movies, they just have a little round thing that sits on the side of your forehead, that somehow projects a picture into your eyes eyes. Too scary for me.
I remember when I wrote comments on videos regarding the iPhone 14 saying…”wait till the 15 major changes coming.” I must’ve got like 150 death threats 😂
I think AR in general is quite likely to eventually replace a smartphone, but we are probably talking 20 years before that happens, possibly even in fact longer than that. The tech necessary for that kind of transition is just not even remotely here yet, the level of advancement in power efficiency and miniaturization of silicon devices, as well as other fields, like bio-safe optics and display technology that are necessary go far beyond what plans from manufacturers that are already available in public covering the next _decade_ suggest.
I think Apple’s AR glasses will be a game changer. If they are anything like what is demonstrated in this video than the possibilities are endless. Imagine these glasses paired with advanced AI like chatGPT and it can physically show you how to do anything!

I'm always sceptical of glasses-based AR. With increased screen usage comes increasing numbers of people needing prescription glasses. I wear very high prescription glasses and for most digital glasses products like this manufacturers just won't make prescriptions powerful enough for my eyes because it's not cost effective
I was also wondering about those who wear glasses. I also wear a high Rx lens and won’t be trading my glasses for contacts anytime soon just to wear apple glasses lol
Some day AR will be streamed directly to the brain, bypassing the need for eyes to use AR. This could go hand in hand with technology that help blind people see. I have no source and I don’t claim that this is true, but with how things are going I can see this being possible in the future. I can see how the phone of the future will be an artificial body part.
While wearing bulky tech goggles may look weird especially going out in summer, media depict this will be normal in like 50 years time. What would be better is if Apple allows optometrists could customize and attach lenses for those with prescription lenses and who don't want contacts (i.e the frame does the work/projection, which is projectected onto the lens attached to the frame, since one lens isn't going to suit everyone).
Virtually zero chance of it working. Far too technical for what technology we have now in terms of size and battery life. Even the smallest VR headsets are still pretty large and heavy to wear for any length of time. VR glasses would be distracting when walking, which makes them dangerous when crossing roads etc. and when driving they would be even more so. I know people who find a very basic in-car head-up display distracting. I think this is either fake news or a publicity stunt.
Media depicted flying cars happening eight years ago, and, since it was a dumbass idea for the exact same reasons as it still is, we don’t have them! Are people really out there offloading their critical thinking to bloody FANTASY???
VR/AR headsets can not replace phones (or whatever comes next), since the potential userbase is way smaller. people who already have glasses would need these replaced (and keep regular glasses for other applications). Having the headset on while driving is also extremely unsafe and will not be tolerated by authorities as long as don't have full autonomous cars. Not to speak of the (in)oconvenience that may occur when wearing glasses for a longer period of time. All other aspects like battery etc have been listed in previous comments, I wonder what Apple product team comes up with. As of now (April 2023) still no official announcement. Maybe at WWDC?
Apart from a shift in usage glasses/headset would require, I wouldn't be comfortable with a device following my life from my POV nearly 24/7. Good thing with phones is that you can put them away and even when using them they are less a part of you.
Thanks for creating this video. Just wanna share my opinion. I think that headset might really lead us to the future we've been seeing in sci-fi movies. But i'm concern what will that do to our health. Like our eyesight would it worsen from those lights? would the electronic waves cause long term brain diseases or would it affect our brainwaves? If they're able to prove there are no harmful electronic waves or such that could affect our health then I'd save up and get one for myself cause it really is cool and convenient for an all-in-one device but I guess not all would be that quick to get their hands on their own Apple headset given its going to be priced that high. By the way as an Apple user for a very long time I'd still stay with the one brick design I know and love. Having to feel that slight bump or gap thing where the phone folds, kinda makes scrolling loose its momentum cause of the slight resistance. unless they are able to fix that and make the fold/dent area really flat and unnoticeable.
It all allready ecists has for years its a failed tech idia that meta did the us army did many gaming componies did it never makes it past niche but all these uni grads keep piitching the idia to tech firms
I don’t mind the folding phones. What I do mind is the other companies charging $2000 for the folding style. Which means Apple will most likely be around $2200 for a PHONE.
I think this product is great for face time, meeting people for work remotely, or seeing past events. My worry is people that abuse this are going to go absolutely ape. Also another concern is if this thing catches on fire. Someone is going to loose their eyesight. I will keep using an iPhone for the rest of 2020s. I will by this sometime in 2025 or 2026 when people start using them more until then if that even happens. I am going to continue using my iPhone 13. I am going to use my phone to play games or read. Reading on the phone is better. I will wait 3 years until I feel comfortable. Just 3.5 years ago I was using a home button iPhone. Otherwise this will significantly help those that are blind.
Bro I can promise you, here in Africa, we don’t really care too much about the newest techs, we like a simple life, we just need a phone that does whatever we want😏 the hype is all in the US. We mostly feel like these tech companies are now oversimplifying and overcomplicating things at the same time but eventually we do catch up. 😄

Let’s be honest you don’t care because you can’t afford it in the first place to care anyways, it’s like me saying I don’t care about driving a Ferrari if I could afford one though I probably would buy one, but I do agree with you pretty much any phone the last three or four years is basically the same and hard to find any differences. I can tell you for sure, though that I see a huge difference in my galaxy fold four compared to any other phone I’ve ever used It is basically like two phones in one like a tablet that is smaller one folded, then like an iPhone 5

If I could have a heads up display projected onto my glasses and have that replace my phone, I’d be down. But there are some serious challenges that would have to be overcome. Watching video, typing out messages that you may not want to speak aloud with other people around, etc. Directions/gps is easy enough to do AR with but the interface will be more difficult with no physical keyboard (be it touch screen or buttons).
I think you will still need to have a “bar” phone of some type. I dont believe the glasses will replace the bar, but i do see how it could be a substitute for the watch.
It seems like an issue for those of us who wear prescription glasses to see. It might be great for those who don’t need vision correction or who can wear contacts but many cannot
They probably thought of that and they don't want to lose out on those profits, I would bet they will sell a prescription for their glasses or something like that.
no matter what glasses or anything else come out having a tiny pocketable computer will still be in high demand. It has way more use cases in day to day life
Yea first off the glasses won’t work without a backup device I’d be worried about battery life and many other things in order for this to work on a small face mounted device it will need like an improved way to power things and provide great connection on the go maybe similar to wireless mic packs one display device with air charge you carry a pack in your purse with Bluetooth or something
Regarding those glasses, unless there is some sort of built-in accelerometer - or some kind of auto-recognition to determine if you’re currently behind a steering wheel - that cuts out display above a certain speed, I foresee many more traffic accidents. Sure, it’d probably be easier to use while driving than current phones, but that’s the point: if it’s easier, more may do so, and much more often, leading to many more distractions, and so on.
There is a physical limitation of the eye, it cannot focus on two objects at totally different distances. Here they just want to sell smoke and not go to reality. That's why google glass was a failure.
I’ve already replaced my IPhone and Wallet with an Apple Series 8 Smartwatch. It lasts all day with no problems. I use it for everything. Phone calls, texts, Apple Maps, Apple Music, internet banking etc. My coworkers are often jealous because I no longer have a smartphone addiction and have complete freedom. Basically, mirror edge type of freedom on steroids. I can do double back flips while answering a phone call or go for a massive sprint with nothing holding me down. Hope this helps.

the headset absolutely will not be getting rid of the iPhone. That's the most ridiculous thing to even think lol

The VR headset and goggles are a joke, but I think it’s very hard to argue against glasses or some type of lightweight lens. At some point it will completely eliminate the need for anything handheld
I can't relate. I start cringing and move on quick as soon as someone says something retarded. Which, in this day and age, is quite frequent.

@@Mehwhatevr Agreed, plus the device this guy is describing is basically just a questpro by apple.

I don’t see physical phones going anywhere but I do think that the glasses could happen and if they could tie in the iPhone too the glasses in a unique and useful, convenient way then I will for sure buy them. But I will not pay some crazy price for them. If it comes available like the iPhone where I can go to Verizon and do a payment plan for 20-40 bucks a month I see this being a huge hit.

Ya that’s about not the rest up the world
Like the Google glass ?

Looks like ski goggles I used to wear back in the 80’s.

I would not want a lithium battery strapped to my head, especially a powerful one.

Hows that headset working🤷
VR/AR headsets can not replace phones (or whatever comes next), since the potential userbase is way smaller. people who already have glasses would need these replaced (and keep regular glasses for other applications). Having the headset on while driving is also extremely unsafe and will not be tolerated by authorities as long as don't have full autonomous cars. Not to speak of the (in)oconvenience that may occur when wearing glasses for a longer period of time. All other aspects like battery etc have been listed in previous comments,
I wonder what Apple product team comes up with. As of now (April 2023) still no official announcement. Maybe at WWDC?

But i'm concern what will that do to our health. Like our eyesight would it worsen from those lights? would the electronic waves cause long term brain diseases or would it affect our brainwaves? If they're able to prove there are no harmful electronic waves or such that could affect our health then I'd save up and get one for myself cause it really is cool and convenient for an all-in-one device but I guess not all would be that quick to get their hands on their own Apple headset given its going to be priced that high.
By the way as an Apple user for a very long time I'd still stay with the one brick design I know and love. @@frysurf8218 pretty sure the 14p’s are outselling the regular 14’s
Lucky for you Apple is a trend setter meaning other brands will make more affordable folding phones
Who cares, nobody needs an iphone. Theyve always been overpriced status items
You can get a Motorola Razr for $500
Didn't Google try the glasses and it failed 🤔
Not parody but reality. Especially entertainment industry people from artists to producers they're so basic not a complete multiracial not a multilingual yet they never been living around the world all alone since childhood.
You know why apple users are dumb as f*ck
*apple is just a copycat and master of marketing gimmicks/scamming.
majority of apple users are basic people dumb with technology but just following trends blindly as they're just dumb sheep, iSheep
so you care less than much!?!?
Let’s be honest you don’t care because you can’t afford it in the first place to care anyways, it’s like me saying I don’t care about driving a Ferrari if I could afford one though I probably would buy one, but I do agree with you pretty much any phone the last three or four years is basically the same and hard to find any differences. I can tell you for sure, though that I see a huge difference in my galaxy fold four compared to any other phone I’ve ever used It is basically like two phones in one like a tablet that is smaller one folded, then like an iPhone 5
@@ZxAMobile I just knew there was going to be one idiot responding. ALL of my relatives in an African country have either a Samsung or iPhone, so keep believing the narrative........
@@ZxAMobile Not me, I would rather buy an Army Jeep from between the 1920's to the 1940's.
I've used some VR headsets. They are cool, and it feels like a next-gen experience, but I can never wear one for more than 5 minutes.
im seeing this right now, and its Soo good that he predicted it so good.
I want Tony stark type glasses and my personal Jarvis lol
If I could have a heads up display projected onto my glasses and have that replace my phone, I’d be down. But there are some serious challenges that would have to be overcome. Watching video, typing out messages that you may not want to speak aloud with other people around, etc. Directions/gps is easy enough to do AR with but the interface will be more difficult with no physical keyboard (be it touch screen or buttons).
FaceTime??
One can’t show their faces on the goggles
Battery life with such a thin form factor
in a few years, you're gonna see me running around with Cartier Shades and an iPhone 11instead of those ski goggles
Congrats on the views
Almost a year later, No AR glasses. What happened?
I think you will still need to have a “bar” phone of some type. I dont believe the glasses will replace the bar, but i do see how it could be a substitute for the watch.
It seems like an issue for those of us who wear prescription glasses to see. It might be great for those who don’t need vision correction or who can wear contacts but many cannot
There’s no problem with that. I am absolutely sure they would allow you to choose glasses for your level of sight.
So you basically addicted to your smartwatch now 😂? It sounds that the hands free AR stuff has been handy for you. Been looking to get a Moto Watch because carrying my phone in the pocket while riding bike = 💀👌
There’s so many things you can’t do on an Apple Watch that you can on a phone, I don’t know how you could only use the watch
@@ewancook I’ve combined it with my IPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard Case. So when I’m home I can watch movies, RUclips, write etc. But when I’m out and about at work or shopping at the local mall. I only use my smartwatch. Honestly don’t miss having a smartphone at all. It’s complete freedom.
How about replace your iPad with your apple series 8 smart watch to record your RUclips videos oh wait.... you can't.
Hold on to your iPad bud I assume you can't record with your little watch??
3:39 CALLED IT!! My mother was asking for my advice on upgrading to the 14 and I was like “wait till the 15, it will have dynamic island on all the models and as far as I have seen your phone is fine, plus the 15 will be better than the 14, so it’s just more worth it to wait another year.” (She has a trade-in program with Sky)
Out of all people, you’re trusting this clown???
Better do it fast because I’ve been hoping they would make a fold I’m thinking of switching
I think, Apple will come up with iGlass which will sync with iPhone like Apple Watches and can be used to get iPhone features hands freely like AirPods, Apple Watch and few features like maps, music, watching videos in home, reading emails can be done without taking iPhone in hand.
They should name it iWear! 😂
I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore. I will wait to see what they actually do.
I’d buy the glasses. If they can pull off somehow the camera being as good on it
It's been a year... Think this still holds up?
