Five nights at Freddy's is cheap horror, its just jumpscares and the animatronics are kinda cute.

Justin Arthur When i played the game i just felt like i was playing a game like "The house" (a online game with jumpscares), I do not understand why Five nights at freddys became so popular, i mean i would understand if the horror involved running away from something or anything like that but this is just a jumpscare fest. I guess we just think differently and have different opinions about horror games.
TheDeathmetal4life My thought was that not being able to run away made it worse as there was no escape. Instead all you can do is shut doors in the first game or put on a mask in the second game. I personally feel it's that helplessness that makes it scary.
That's a likely option. But hey, differences are the spice of life.
I have to give you props for actually playing it. Lot of people out there who hate on it despite having not played it for themselves. Reverse holds true as well; plenty who claim it's awesomesauce but have never played it.
