There is one now. (well 2 u technically need) haven't tested it Too much but apparently gettin "Forgified fabric api" and "Connector" allow you to use forge and fabric mods together (1.20.1 only rn)
HOWEVER, Unfortunatly to My knowledge better end/nether don't work as well as a few other fabric mods RN, but it's still in beta so that Could be fixed in the future.

Sinytra connector now works with better nether/better end. Tested it a few hours and saw no bugs :) Only 2 mods i really wanted for forge.

This is why we possibly cannot get a real "GOOD" End update cause they have to top the mod versions which is very difficult.

Not necessarily. Better Nether adds wayyyy more biomes than the nether update did but the Nether Update topped it because it fits in so much better with the vanilla game. It’s super hard to make something like that blend with what you already have, but mojang was able to do it super well so I think they’d do a good job with it

@lemonskyryan But it takes a hell of a lot of time, and I bet 1.20 purpose was to keep us entertained while they work on their main big thing, but that doesn't mean it's an end update, it will eventually come soon but not in 1.21.
