In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, we see the solid rock in its context in Matthew 7:24-27
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Why is he yelling? The church is to be built on scripture. Confidence in its teachings. It gives us true knowledge to pass on to others. All & only credit is to be given to Author God. It’s His message,. Not a pastors platform. Although we respect & love our pastors, those who desire to teach us. A church is not built on tongues or healings.
That could cause insecurity & doubt in that message thinking they must have either and must have enough faith for that to happen. Healings do happen and it’s up to the Lord to answer. Not all are physical.
Miracles happen daily in life.
Scripture tells us to be faithful to the end.
