Now, following this story for the third time, I came to understand that this "dark energy" is using someone's bad thoughts to influence the person to the matter that she/he could do something evil even without understanding. Also, the archduke could be someone powerful, due to some facts. First- he could hear that sounds Seria did, also the tension between him and Lina, that caused the wound on his arm. Plus simple - he has red eyes, it's the sign of having powers in the mangas and manhwas. It's just he doesn't realize it yet. But it's only my theory, we'll see later am I right or not

What a cliffhanger. I dont think he will kill him but will make him experience the same fear she did as a child who was already on the brink of death. Then again, he did harm her while she is his wife so he very well could be angry enough to finish him in the same manner he nearly killed her when she was young. Still Id like to believe hell let him live but strip him of all title, all personal assets, his name erased from the families history, and then exiled. Reentry into the country if caught means death. I have 4 sisters. I had plenty of fights with them, but never once did I try to kill them. That kind of familial betrayal would definitely manifest the ptsd symptoms that manifested whenever he got near her. Understandably so. Ill bet that before the duke left she made him promise that he wouldnt actually kill him because despite everything, he is still her brother and she wouldnt want his hands to be stained with her families blood. I think the duke would require him to admit the truth to his father about the incident in question if he didnt want to die then and there. Continue torturing him until he agreed. Revealing that he did indeed try to kill her. Im more interested in learning why he tried to do it. Ill be looking forward to the next chapters.
