The large wind turbines are the best source of energy on Vulcan, if you put them up a farely decent hill they will be going full speed 70% of the time and 30% slower if you have a bunch you will have a very decent constant output and when they run slower you just have battery to bridge,
Cant say anything about the quality of the video yet.. but if you returned to the same type of video after a long enough period to forget it all again, then what the heck did you watch the first charge for, since you obviously did not play enough to implement any of it in the meantime. The Solid Generator does indeed emit gases as it uses the coal. If memory serves, it's a 3:1 Pollutant/CO2 ratio.

Gas generator > stirling engine.
Make sure you're using all of your energy.
