We are so incredibly happy to have been able to attend JTC's Summer Session. As hearing parents to a child with hearing loss and cochlear implants, we have learned so much during Neo's hearing loss journey. We are still learning as much as we can about different ways to support Neo and we are happy that we were able to get a second opinion on Neo's current CI mapping. While we know that this is still the very beginning of Neo's journey with bilateral cochlear implants, we hope that Neo's story continues to inspire you all to learn more about the way to support children and families who experience hearing loss at some point in their life.

The way Nikos energy changed when he had the coffee❤❤🤣🤣but he is such a good guy and works SO hard to take care of Neo and Abella (crystal does too) and crystal is so patient with the kids❤❤
I am nine years old and I have hearing loss. I will be going to the audiologist soon because he recently found out that I lost more hearing so we have to do the full hearing test. I’ll be going there in five weeks.

Being a person that is loosing his hearing at an older age you are correct when you say it’s difficult. I’m currently in classes for sign language. It’s so wonderful to see you embracing this journey with him.

I’m happy neo is doing better learning how to say words😊. And I’m Half deaf and have hearing aids and sometimes it’s annoying,because when I’m out and don’t have battery’s the sound when it’s about to die gets annoying!

I’m 27 I’m hard of hearing and I can’t hear high frequency noises and I can’t tell the difference between certain letter sounds ! You guys are doing the best you can ! I’m in the process of getting a cochlear hopefully it help me!

I love this! My son is getting implanted this Thursday after a looooong wait, we are so excited and nervous of course. He is also deaf in both ears but unfortunately due to other issues he can only get implanted in one ear. But seeing Neo and how he’s doing (since he’s a year older then my son) gives me hope. Even your surgery video was so amazing to see! So thank you for kind of showing my family and i the next steps in this process. Please keep updating us on Neo’s journey because it helps families like mine. And the JTC camp, soooo cool! Thank you for the info. Much love and God bless your family!

I have a son who is hard of hearing and he is 3 and a half years his hearing aids are not working and doctor suggested chochlear implant i am really afraid wish me all the best guys.
