My one issue with this track is that I wish he did something to connect the drop with the rest of the song better, the switch is too dramatic. Maybe use a bit of the main bass from the drop as an accent in the buildup and after the drop or something, just make it sound more connected.
I’m used to how great that transition worked live, but I agree that for release that could’ve been changed.
But then there’d be the group of people who’d prefer the original mix, can’t please everyone
