I saw Tony in the early 70s at the Frisky Whisky in Omaha. Back then he put on an energetic show About 8 of us in the place including staff. He was bigger than life.
Tony Clifton one of the greatest Vargas acts,, boy legends die hard,, he was so mis treated in the end, Andy Cofmen would not even defend him in the end.
Tony was cut down before his time by the people in Hollywood who demand predictability. And that ridiculous Andy Kaufman trying to ride Tony's coattails. How disgusting.
