I tried to remake Right and Exact on my MPC back in the day. The chorus part is easy. But when I had to make the verse and it literally turned my production game upside down to get it right. I knew how much of genius and master of sampling alchemist was after that. And to this day he only gets better and never disappoints.

Idk what happened but they just never connected. I know somebody said Al beats are dark, but I think Al has a lot more range than people give him credit for. Everything in his catalog def aint all dark. He's a real producer, he could get with Jay and construct some shit for him.

Daringer/Camo Monk/Griselda's been doing them since 2015 and Griselda is still going strong almost 8 years later. I don't even really like drumless beats. I like maybe 1 or 2 per project and that's it. I'd love to hear less of them honestly. But I don't think they're a fad, and I think they're here to stay. Tons of new producers have been influenced by them now. It's practically its own sub-genre now.
