DJ Uiagalelei has played his best game throwing the ball today, as well as Sam Hartman. They both were spectacular out there and this was an emotionally intense game right from the start
What's crazy is Sam Hartman threw for 6 touchdowns and still loss. That's how good Clemson is.

When DJ is confident, he’s a beast and we have to season those young CB’s some more. As time goes on, Clemson will get better. But I like what I saw from my team for the most part. The TE is the key to the team

@@alejandrosandoval8362 yes possibly I can see that to a degree. I think he possibly may have to come back for a senior year of a repeat elite season. Then I think he will be a for sure first rounder.

I thought Will Shipley was "the man" today. Without Shipley Clemson could have easily lost. This game was won by the Offensive line, period. They played their best game this year - great blocking to get Shipley gaps to get out and they gave DJ plenty of time to be composed and throw great passes. The Offensive Line won this game. Respect for the receivers too, they stayed focused and made the catches when it counted the most.

Game of the year so far. Both QBs were slinging darts all over the place
I finally feel like our offense is starting to vibe with each other! This was a game for the ages. Both great teams and I am SO proud of my team today! They kept us on our toes all day and we did not quit not for a second! And I love the irony that the announcers were calling out our weakness at safety all day long but it was a play by one of our safeties that sealed WF’s fate. Bout gave me a heart attack but I feel better about DJ as our QB today for sure.
Sam Hartman is a good quarterback. Been following his career and hope to see him on Sunday's. It was a good game and 2 good teams.

@Phillip Scarbrough...DJ played well under pressure when he filled in for Trevor Lawrence and had a comeback win with BC and played Notre Dame in OT but lost in the last drive...the dude has nerves of steel...his WRs has given him more confidence now because now he can trust them to catch the ball!! lol

No they weren't at all. Wiggins was awful. I'm a Clemson fan, but those calls were absolutely on him. He couldn't keep up with any receivers, so he just had to foul them.
On Wake's 1st OT possession on that 3rd and 3, #55 from Wake had DOUBLE handfuls of Bresee's jersey right in front of the ref. They hold worst than Bama.
they held on the second to last play too, if I’m gonna be honest they got away with a lot of PI too and about 2 or 3 of those pi calls against us were very debatable, like the Nate Wiggins diving breakup. It’s alright tho I’m not complaining

Both years we won the natty we had games just like this. Wake is a great team. We had our two best secondary players out of the game and came away with it. BIG GAME next week with #12 NC state
Clemson wins big against NC state I feel like
Like so many times before, Clemson made the plays to pull out the game - outstanding performance on offense. But the reserves in the secondary were getting beat and not turning to look for the ball all day. The DBs have to get better in a hurry, because injuries are part of the game, and the schedule only gets tougher.

@@Seattle-2017 Yeah the DBs were so bad it was almost funny. Mukuba was fouling the mess out of every receiver because he couldn't do anything against them. Our CB's are just so slow.

Both teams competed great on both sides so not taking anything away from there athleticism. But being in the stadium, did you get a sense that wes Goodwin, Clemson dc, was a bit off balance with his playing calling because of the need to protect the beat up/ young secondary or was majority of it credited to Wake’s receiving core creating separation and Sam being a vet? Honestly.

With this secondary getting exposed like that, there’s no point in playing a cover 3 zone defense. Blitz and make them get rid of the ball quickly because the throws downfield are either caught or a pass interference. Furman did the same thing too. Hats off to Dj
