My dad showed me your RUclips channel years ago and I remember watching this video in particular. It's only recently, in the last couple of years, that I've started to accept the Naga part of my identity. Growing up in America and never having traveled to India at all until age 22 I did not understand the Naga people and my own tribe. It's comforting to know that there are people who have had similar experiences living in the U.S. This video brought tears to my eyes for that reason. I feel incredibly privileged, yet honored to call myself a Naga-American and a Uipo girl. Thank you so much for sharing.

I was really surprised how we are all really really really similar in all traditions, features, and everything, even being so religious. I tried to listen to ur naga dialects and I kinda pick-up some syllables and words though I am not sure of their meaning but I believed that we belong to the same family.
I am a Filipino and we really look alike...and I also believed that we Filipinos are of Hebrew lineage, and maybe u r too. We are the only Christian nation in Asia by the way. And we have thousands of dialects in the Philippines but now we are one as a Nation.

Defining a 'naga identity' is very difficult. For example, tomorrow if someone meets a mizo, he says he's indian, people would say, o you are naga! No. U r SE Asian! No. WTF these confusing identities! There are some tribes in Arunachal and Manipur who are still confused as to whether they r naga or not. Naga is a term loosely connecting tribes of eastern India which were hostile to British initially but later gave away after fierce battles. Today they are connected together by Christianity and Nagamese language. Surprisingly in this video nobody recognizes himself/herself as Ao, Angami, Sema, Lotha, etc. but just Naga.

True!!! Sad, some Nagas still believe in the artificial boundaries made by outsiders. Naga ancestral land has been divided and put in some parts of Arunachal, Assam, Manipur and Myanmar. There are only 16 tribes living in present Nagaland. But they are not the only Nagas. There are more than 60 Naga tribes. Learn to learn our own history and facts.

It's very funny, and people without knowing their history yet claiming that they're Naga's. No wonder many so called Central service aspirants from Nagaland fails in the test especially when it comes to their own history and traditions, even after clearing their mains exams. In UPSC exams I mean. Because you know what.? Those so called educated Naga's don't even fckng know their own history like you. And yet, the funny fact is that, they call themselves as Naga's. Lol what an irony. Just because someone tells you to eat shit just don't eat shit. People like you are a disgrace to the nation, Not just the nagas.
