Made two of these right way using the Butterfly Ballet paper kit from the Paper Boutique.
Had trouble getting the pop up mechanism in the right spot and my birthday box was cock-eyed.
On the second try I folded the aperture in half and glued one side first, then put glue on the other side and folded the base card down on top and it was perfectly aligned. One of your tricks from other cards you have made.
It is already on it's way in the mail for a friends birthday next week. Turned out beautiful. Love that

This is really pretty! Another fab card! Love it!!
I think that this would make a good card for those difficult people that we all have that don't have any sort of hobby, don't drink, smoke or anything else that we could normally make a card idea up with. It can be made as frilly and as girlie, over the top as required or as plain and as basic as they come for the impossible lot. Thank you Sam as i think that i will make use of this card for just sort of a person. Crafty hugs from Glenochil Village, Central Scotland.

I think I may use the book style for my sister's cocktail party invitations. I have made them for the last 3 years for her and this is very unique.

Hi Sam another great card love these pop ups I am going to make one tomorrow. I have been watching your tutorials quite a bit now I did the poppy stencilling I did not have those round brushes you have but found a great alternative in the local pound land shop double ended eye shadow brushes which are ideal for controlling where the inks go and you can use different colours either end. look forward to your next tutorial.
You just created my Christmas card! Thank you. I will do the present with a tag to the family from God. Turn it around and find inside the box, Jesus in the manger. Not sure exactly how I will execute this....but I think that it could work. Thanks!
That is a really good idea well done look out for a nativity scene in one of the papercraft magazines I think i got one last year so they are bound to be out in one of them this year.

Super card in both versions. the tabs for the box will work if they are folded to the back, cover the inside of the card and then stick down the pop up box.
