No way Judah would have survived after the knock down, the referee was 100% right to stop it. He should have stayed down longer to gather himself before getting up, although I’m not sure if it would have changed the outcome.

@@bassman5123 I'd say shocked more than concussed. Concussion is something that tends to last a period of time following the actual impact, it's a more substantial injury. This was a short term head fuck that completely destroyed the communication between brain and limbs.

And I also have had concussion before which lasted several days, whereas any time I was knocked senseless like this example it was a very temporary situation. Getting hit in the right spot can mess your equilibrium right up for short periods without leaving longer term effects that I'd associate with concussion

His or his coach's strategy was dodging all the time in the 1-2- rounds. That's usual. But: against Kostya? He felt in R1 his opponent's legs and decided the situation. Eventually that Kostya's very slight askance hit on the chin did it. Plus: too weak legs.
The ref should not have stopped the fight so Kostya could put him to sleep forever.

Feeling sorry for Zab, that pressure and hunger to win, when you know in your heart that you’re reigning King and have full strength to defend the crown and suddenly that unexpected power punch just ruined all your consciousness of reality for a moment sending you to Jupiter and back- yeah, that’s hard to accept 😢. I think his mind changed after watching the replay at home and for sure apologised to the referee at some point when the reality finally sinked in.
