Auna is not a german company, just a logo. All Auna products designed and manufactured in China for a German online retail-marketing company Chal-Tech/Electronic Star. Majority is the same, it is just a logo on Chinese designed and manufactured products made for a Cambridge based online retailer iZilla. Majority is not designed in Cambridge but in China for a Cambridge based online retailer iZilla. Only Revo, Ruark, Sony, Sharp are genuine manufacturing companies, Majority, Auna are not manufacturing companies just logos on cheap Chinese designed and manufactured home electronic goods. Revo,Ruark, Sony internet radios cost at least six times more than a Majority or Auna. I HAVE AN AUNA IR 260 radio. It has superb sound and build but it has a big problem: on DAB band it is not able to receive any BBC National stations. I live in Crystal Palace, South-London very close to Crystal Palace main UK TV and DAB transmitter. The Auna IR 260 receives 101 DAB stations but not one BBC National stations: It is in my kitchen window overlooking the most powerful, main UK transmitter, the 167 meter tall Crystal Palace TV and radio transmitter tower. My 20 year old Sony Hi-fi receives all ten BBC National stations (BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 4, 4Extra, 5, 5Live, BBC World Service..........BBC Asian Network) Auna IR 260 receives no BBC National stations at all. I cannot contact Auna, because Auna is not a company. It is just a logo. The online retailer cannot help, they have no technical or repair departments. The moral of my story is: you should only buy internet radio from reputable genuine manufacturing companies like Ruark, Revo or even Sony.
Hi. I don’t know what internet radio portal it uses, but I can tell you it has absolutely hundreds - if not thousands - of stations. Regarding the DAB reception, I’ve found it to be quite good. I’m not sure what you mean by manually tune them because, in my experience, DAB receivers will just scan for whatever multiplexes are in range.
I was very careful when adjusting the level in the edit to make sure it didn’t interfere with the narration, but I guess it will sound different depending on whatever device you’re listening on.
seeing this was from Tempelhof, and Auna is Berlin, I'd expect a slightly different accent. . . Ehrrm ... _language_ and i might add, this vid really are 2 clips; the radio brands & production musings at the start could be separated -- if not, severed

Looks like a nice little unit, thanks for the review.
nice review and helpful background on Chinese manufacturer. The background music is a real distraction though.

That is strange that you can’t pick up the BBC National stations. Do you have any other DAB sets in the house and can they pick them up OK?
@@tempelhof8538 My 20 year old Sony, DAB not DAB+, mini Hifi picks them up.
Hi, do you know what Internet radio portal it uses? Also what is the DAB reception like and can you manually tune it? Thanks!
Also can you manually add stations to the Internet radio if it isn't on the portal?

Effectively we couldn't see any sort of prompt to enter a u.r.l.
Hello! What do you think about the comment of Mr. Gyula Juhasz under your video?
Thank you for sharing. Very clear.
completely pointless and totally annoying background music virtually blocks the narration!

yo, too much beat in it. more fluid stuff is better as a backing tune, this one however could make ones wiskey tumbler jump off the desk ;)
🙋👍❤️
probably yes M
