This is the best channel that I've been discovered in RUclips! I completely love the way you explained the way to do the problem, and then going to practice question right after! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I just wanna say, one of my friends recommend your videos to me. Even in high school, my calculus teacher would tell me that it’s very rare to find a linear algebra teacher that teaches it well, but you managed to do just that even without the use of too many visual aids. I will be recommending your channel to anyone I know taking the course. :)
can the formula also be (λI - A)x = 0 ? My textbook gives me this formula but in the video we use (A - λI)x = 0. Why do you write it like this in the video?

I never made an A on a college math test, only ever got around a 70-85. until i started watching your videos! Got a 92 on my last one! Thank you!

its a good day when kimberly made a video on a topic you need
15:46 I thought basis only consisted of independent columns from the original matrix?
A year late but in case someone needs it. It is linearly independent bc it's a single non-zero vector.
thank you so much, your videos are very helpful and helped me pass my college linear algebra class thank you , and keeping doing what you do.
AT 15:21 I though it should be -1/2 for x2 and -3 for x3. Why 1/2 and 3?
On 12:25, what is this the basis for? The nulspace?
finally I made into this chapter, I have been studying for 9 days now from 0 about linear algebra from your yt only, I can't believe I made it...
12:18 i thought each column needed a pivot in order to form a basis, im confused why its a basis when a free variable exists
will you be making more videos for rest of the sections in the book? your lectures are amazing
I'm not sure, but I think u made a mistake in 7:40 if it's row-echelon it should have been -1 and 3 in the first row.
It looks correct to me. I believe she did -1R1 --> R1. Then R1+R2 --> R2.
same i was also stuck there.. damn you will see it after 2 years! good luck man
i want 5.3 5.4 exercise videos of this book?
Thank you!
can you tell us the book that you are referring to in your videos, your videos are great 😀
David Lay, Linear Algebra and It's Applications
what textbook is used for this course?
David Lay, Linear Algebra and It's Applications
good job
whats the reason for 7:43 ?
why the 2 steps ?
you just subtract, R2=R1-R2
Why would the identity matrix be a trivial solution? I thought the zero matrix was a trivial solution.
Because it will give x1 = x2= x3 =0 (which is trivial i.e useless solution). Zero matrix will give 0 = 0 i.e no solution.
can the formula also be (λI - A)x = 0 ? My textbook gives me this formula but in the video we use (A - λI)x = 0. Why do you write it like this in the video?
Yeah, it's the same thing
I am confused @ 7:38, what is the math behind that?
Determinant row operation (R2= R2 - R1) and so on....
@@sanakamal5533 thank you
I am not kidding... Too many ads
You are welcome to find a RUclips creator that doesn't monetize their videos.
