Why don’t you put the article for the nouns-el or la ? Why don’t you put the verb in the infinitive form in English ? to correct, to sing etc. ? Is there a reason for that ?
Hola Atilla Eagleman, M.D., Thank you for your question. Since in this video we're looking into phrases we need to keep the tense they used within the phrase. Sigamos practicando! Saludos, Carla Team SpanishPod101.com
keep in mind these are Central -mexicans so the Nahautl influence is heavily present in Mexican spanish. A lot of the expressions they were mentioning are actually Nahautl...like "Neta" "al chile" "a la chinchara". Argentenian Spanish is based of Galician Spanish. ..we kind of based ours off castilliano but most of it is still Nahautl at heart.
If I am going to learn Spanish, I’ll do it from someone who is Spanish not American/Canadian. The American accent is notoriously bad for speaking Spanish....
This isn't even Spanish actually. These are Central Mexicans, most of what they were speaking was NAHAUTL styled Spanish(uto aztecan). But actually according to the Spanish themselves, the Spaniards say that COLOMBIANS speaks the best form of Spanish as its the most neutral... so Colombian styled Spanish is better to learn, but Mexican has too much of a Nahautl influence.
