    Thank you for the review Lachlan, I must say they are big boys these ones. My problem so far with all the TWS sets is the extremely limited lifespan. If I buy an IEM for US$260+ I need to know that 5 years down the line I'll still be enjoying it, most of these have too little battery life left after 2 years.

    • @PassionforSound
      @PassionforSound  Год назад +2

      That's an excellent point! I also hate the fact that, as an occasional TWS user, I tend to go to use them and find the battery dead and needing a recharge so I end up going wired anyway while I wait for the recharge.

      @@PassionforSound that's not what he ment. he ment it degrades after two years.

      Ah, gotcha. Yes. That too. As I said, I don't tend to use them much so I haven't noticed this issue, but understand the realities of the battery degradation in these types of devices.

    We love you Lachlan. Hi all in case it helps go to developer options and manually lock LDAC to 990Kbps. Your android will lock this in if you temporarily switch from 24 to 32bit and back for example. This makes the svanar wireless, Ananda BT, or Sony Xm5, etc a cut above the rest in terms of the ability to get a bit closer to the bandwidth of a wired set which I recall may be around 1,200 to 1,400 Mbps. ❤

    Thanks for the review.
    I’m wondering whether you hear your footsteps when walking having them on? By that I mean the thumping bone conduction sound you perceive via the bones and skull, not the actual footstep sound.
    That’s an annoying issue that I have when using my wired IEMs or having them connected to something like UTWS5. I’m guessing though that the issue should remain as long as the seal is there.

    • @PassionforSound
      @PassionforSound  Год назад +2

      Yes, that's a sealed ear canal thing. I don't think any IEM can over come that.

    at taht price its an investment and one which is just not worth it - life span? Battery starts going wonky and the result ? Throw them in the bin. TWS is never worth spending more than 300 usd in my books. Would be helpful next time if you could do a mic test. After all its one of the conveniences of tws in taking calls too

    I've been listening to these for ~2w now and while I quite like how they sound, the ergonomics of the case are atrocious.
    For one, trying to open the case without looking at it is effectively impossible. My blind friend literally couldn't put these on because he couldn't open the case.
    Secondly, the charging port for the case is on the bottom, taking a definite note from the Apple mouse, and it's just as awful a design here as it is there.
    Thirdly, I've found the case itself doesn't like every charger. I can only get it to actually charge on my Anker chargers for some reason - the Pixel charger that came with my phone doesn't work, nor does the USB-A charging ports on my power strip.
    Other than these gripes, it's pretty good!

      Those are good points about the case. Thankfully the earphones make up for it.with their sound.
