And local classes with enthusiastic teachers so the young ones are confident in their dancing skills. I've got a bit of a gammy leg, but Ed Uni country dance society didn't let that interfere with teaching me the basics of pousettes or reels of three. So much more fun when you're confident you won't mess up the set for everyone else. Who'd ever go back to gym type keep fit, when you can dance the night away? Occasionally on a SPRUNG FLOOR. 😳
At 10:40 or so maybe adding Scott Skinner influence to Shand and Starr? I think gymnastics with a button box would be even more tricky than with the fiddle though. Like Shand with his bespoke accordion, Scott Skinner experimented with an amplifier horn on his fiddle, so who knows how Brandon will combine Scottish inventiveness with our music tradition.
