It is now late 2021 and I am looking at this age Lexus to have a luxury choice for trips to the Gulf Coast and visits around Arkansas. After 45 years of truck driving I am giving that up and want something smooth and very comfortable riding for my trips! Thanks for the review on this when it was new!
Haha thanks, I realize these videos aren't for everybody, they can be pretty tedious, but for someone that's interested in buying this car, these videos can be a big help. My BRZ tour video is 42 minutes long (!!!) and it has over 600,000 views. So these videos are definitely desired by a lot of people. The BRZ is doing well. I'll be doing my weekly update tomorrow, but I definitely want a convertible BRZ if they make one.
This Lexus es350 does have a bigger trunk than the 5 series by a full cubic foot (14.2 cubic feet to 15.2 cubic feet according to the manufacturers website). The only sedan that has more space than the Lexus in the midsize luxury class is the Mercedes E Class which is 10-15 thousand dollars more expensive comparatively equipped. You are right to state that this car is a value proposition.
I had the car and he hasn't done a video of this car yet, so I thought I'd do it for the people out there that were more interested in the details that I didn't show in my driving review.
Had a 1992 SC300 with similar colored parchment/light beige/off white leather, except the floor mats/upper dash were a nice medium brown, the people who picked colors on those early Lexus cars had a much better eye for design compared to the colors on this light interior ES350.
I was stuck between the two also, and when it all boiled down for me, the ES was more economical. The GS does have a more powerful engine, but the ES has a sport mode that is very surprising.
haha i know people in the market for an es would appreciate it. i just think it's funny you set up the video similar to how he would. keep up the great work!
saabkyle has been around longer and wrx has a newer twist however both do a great job, wrxfan adds more of his opinions and own beliefs though and Kyle just inserts the performance data and uses average sum of other companies reviews to make his review which is awesome as well
Some of the buttons, surface materials, and paint on the interior of the ES350 is exactly the same as the ones used in a Corolla! The ones in the Corolla after 2 years look chipped and worn out. I wonder if the ES350's buttons and paint surfaces will suffer the same.
No everyone is copying Saabkyle. Other people who do reviews can't really change up the wording. Lets see you do a review and not try to copy Saabkyle. Ugh people are so ignorant
Saabkyle is a terrible reviewer, no one should copy him, and this guy is better for the record. Kyle is no different than reading a brochure or window sticker. Kevin Gordon from Autosavant is the best out there.
This review is not very good...You spent all that time on the interior and I still have no idea how it looks. Back that camera up and give us a complete view...not just a zoom in view of each button and knob. Also, no need to tell us obvious stuff like, "if you press the red up arrow it turns the heat up, if you press the down blue arrow it turns the heat down". That's really annoying! You could have done a more complete review with better visuals if you cut down on the useless, obvious banter and learn how to pan shots with the camera. I give you a C- ...
24 mins... I love your videos, but not sitting through this. Too long for a Lexus thats basically a luxury Camry. - A GS owner. :P Hows the BRZ? Planning on getting a drop top FRS so you can ball on these niggas in the summer time?

The good thing about this car is that it is not based on the Camry, it is based on the Avalon so that's where all the extra space comes from.

The Back seat space is Insane!

Stuck between the ES and the GS 😞 the GS looks sportier and has more horses but the ES uses regular fuel

True. I like the details... I choose ES over the GS.
Just bought CPO 2017 350 ES...I'm lovin' it!!!
I actually might be able to get one of those soon...
great in depth review

You should see the legroom in the LS.

great review! The new ES looks great!
How many cylinder?
No, dealers don't want me putting miles on their cars. These are cars that either friends own or cars that I can rent.
Flat rear floor because its front wheel drive
i think subaruwrxfan did a better job. he knows more about what he's talking about than saabkyle04.
Excellent review! The best I've seen thus far on the Lexus ES 350.
Well done.
is that keyless entry standard on the 2013 only?
No I have a 2007 Lexus es350 and it is keyless entry
I just bought this exact car
How’s it holding up?
Why does my ES350 get poor gas mileage? Filling up gets me 280 per fill up... that doesn't seem right?? Can someone help me please??
Just a normal 2GR-FE engine thing
You do a better job than saabkyle in my opinion, also you have a great channel.
Saabkyle04 much?
Thank you very much for sharing
180k and still running nicely
Is the maintenance expensive? Considering purchasing a higher mileage used 2013 Lexus (150k-200k miles).

Matt sounded bored describing the car. He didn't even take it out for a drive. Gee Matt how does it drive? Matt: I don't know!

I liked saabkyle04's older reviews better...His newer one are as boring as reading a newspaper.
well if your are gonna copy, copy from the best lol
please say "really nice" 700 less times in your next video. sounded like a 5 yr old made this video.

it looks too much like a toyota. i like their styling before, but not now.
Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Toyota....
