I think Rudy & Maddy both sort of ‘deny’ the Jiara ship a little because they don’t want to upset JD. It must be hard to see an entire fandom essentially root for the demise of your characters relationship, it’s just unfortunate that Pope and Kiara have zero chemistry whilst JJ & Kiara unintentionally have it in spades.

Here's what I think. J.J. was raised in a really abusive household and isn't used to things going his way and doesn't expect to get what he wants. It really seems like he likes Kiara but he doesn't expect to get her he's probably always thought she would end up with like John B. or something and like in the beginning of the show he kept asking John B. if something was going on between them. J.J. is a really good and loyal friend so I feel like he'd be a little hesitant to be with Kiara if she and Pope weren't together if he you know thought Pope might still like her. J.J. probably has really strong feelings for Kiara but doesn't expect to be with her so he just acts like her with someone else doesn't bother him. Idk I just really hope they get together in like season 3 or something cause I would like them to just have a lot of chemistry moments in season 2 where we can watch their relationship develop rather than they start dating and like break up and we have to wait for them to get back together you know. All I know is Jiara is endgame😂💜

I love the jj and kiara couple and I think they should end together but not in season two. Because all the fans are demanding it and I don't want the producers to force the couple quickly just to please the fans. In my opinion, they should give us more scenes of them that reinforce their friendship and at the same time with a lot of chemistry but nothing forced, and if they finally make a third season, I would like to see them together. Postscript: I would also like to see more about Kiara's personal life and John B's relationship with his father, since not showing any flashback or others with him, it makes it difficult to empathize with the character, unlike JJ.

I think kiara and Pope would’ve had stronger chemistry had the writers made it that way. Like when John B tells her he told the guys that he kissed her, and she said “did you tell JJ”, they could’ve put “did you tell Pope” so at the end, when they ended up together it wouldn’t have come as such a shock. She cared more about JJ through out the whole season, I don’t ship him with kiara, but I don’t like Kie with pope either. I wish they could’ve all stay as friends, because this just reconfirms this idea that guys and girls can not be friends without any romantic feelings in the middle. They should’ve given Kie a girlfriend, and it would target a bigger audience that way IMO

I think they’ve done it perfectly. JJ focusing on himself s1 then S2 hinting at his feelings in a really subtle way so then if they get together S3 or 4 it’s not rushed

Here's what I think. J.J. was raised in a really abusive household and isn't used to things going his way and doesn't expect to get what he wants. It really seems like he likes Kiara but he doesn't expect to get her he's probably always thought she would end up with like John B. or something and like in the beginning of the show he kept asking John B. if something was going on between them. J.J. is a really good and loyal friend so I feel like he'd be a little hesitant to be with Kiara if she and Pope weren't together if he you know thought Pope might still like her. J.J. probably has really strong feelings for Kiara but doesn't expect to be with her so he just acts like her with someone else doesn't bother him. Idk I just really hope they get together in like season 3 or something cause I would like them to just have a lot of chemistry moments in season 2 where we can watch their relationship develop rather than they start dating and like break up and we have to wait for them to get back together you know. All I know is Jiara is endgame😂💜

I love the jj and kiara couple and I think they should end together but not in season two. Because all the fans are demanding it and I don't want the producers to force the couple quickly just to please the fans. In my opinion, they should give us more scenes of them that reinforce their friendship and at the same time with a lot of chemistry but nothing forced, and if they finally make a third season, I would like to see them together.
Postscript: I would also like to see more about Kiara's personal life and John B's relationship with his father, since not showing any flashback or others with him, it makes it difficult to empathize with the character, unlike JJ.

i think in season 2 they kinda are figuring themselves out and flirt a little but never go anywhere far. like they have a few moments but nothing crazy and you really get to see them slowly fall for eachother, then on the last episode of season 2 they kiss and then they leave us on a cliff hanger. this would be perfect if this happened!!
