Join us for coverage of The Working Lunch from Thursday, May 23, 2024. The Working Lunch is Women Employed’s signature fundraiser and one of Chicago’s premier spring events. At this year’s luncheon, Women Employed went ALL IN, celebrating the organization's victories, and looking ahead to building a future of equity for working women, their families, and communities. The Working Lunch honors and celebrates leaders who have dedicated their lives to championing equity for women and are unwavering in their commitment to ensuring fundamental and systemic change at all levels. This year's honorees are Arise Chicago, Amber N. Anderson (Executive Director and Founder, Black is Gold), and BMO. This year's discussion panel includes Reverend C.J. Hawking (Executive Director, Arise Chicago), Dr. Cristina Pacione-Zayas (Chief of Staff, City of Chicago), Audra Wilson (President and CEO, Shriver Center on Poverty Law), and moderator Cherita Ellens (President and CEO, Women Employed).
