The Father and Mother who came forward, did they prove they were her biological parents? This wasn't complete. It does not show them meeting or anything. What's up with that?
It's not her biological father who made her who she is today. It's her adopted parent ! Those who had alway been there for her. They are the ones who deserves all the gratitudes.....
Her trying to find her biological parents doesn’t mean she doesn’t love and appreciate her adoptive parents. It just means she’s trying to understand a bit more about herself given the circumstances that she wasn’t able to control.
If the person who claimed that he is her father is really her biological father, she is very lucky person. So many adopted children have come to Korea to find their biological parents. But it is actually very difficult to find. Even a adopted man to Finland came Korea to find his parents and stayed in Korea a couple of years to find his parents. But it was hard and he killed himself..
I dated a Korean adoptee who was brought to southern California as a toddler. I never asked her whether she wanted to meet her relatives or if she knew what happened to her parents. It is possible she was not an orphan. Not knowing must be hard.
leepakim She wasn't on track to make the team two years ago when she had to start paperwork to ski for S.Korea. The fact she didn't win gold should show she isn't a traitor. It was the only way she could compete.
kathryn witte treason is definitely not someone deciding to compete in a different country's team, especially considering it was the country she was born in. I see no issue with this.
She was born in Korea so of course she played for Korea. Besides, people like you would be in an uproar if she won gold because she's "not American enough" anyways. Double standards at its finest.
Do I really have to explain? You boo-ed her for playing for the Korean team despite her being born in Korea. It is her choice and her life so she can do what she wants with it. Who are you to boo someone who is doing what she wants with her own life and being herself?
To be on the Olympic top, to find and love loved ones - this is real happiness.
I wish every year was an Olympic year. It’s only then that we hear such touching stories of re-unification. I’m so happy for her!
I will always be proud of you.
What an achievement !!!!

It's not really our business what happens after they got in contact.
Ikr!!! They left us hanging :(
Kelsey S it is if she's sitting here telling us.
Probably because it happened after they stopped filming for this video or after they left Korea
If she is an olympic winner, they could be fraudulent (glory seekers?). This young lady needs to be careful.

You're off topic.

I am glad for her

Those who saying she didn't play for USA .... Why should she ? Whole USA is xenophobic . She didn't feel welcome in racist place like that
what about Chloe Kim?
she had her family there.. each person has different experiences being an immigrant in a foreign country.
Speak for yourself sheep.

So she is an American who participated in the Olympics for Korea?
Honestly. Kind of disappointing
She ain't american! She is korean and you have to accept that.
Earlier in the video, she said she applied for dual citizenship.

Not everything is about y'all Americans ya know
hey it's me death nobody said it was but we are a bit more sensitive to treason lately.

I see why her parents did this.
Boo! You played for Korea so you can kick rocks.

@@aznmochibunny... It doesn't really matter if she was born in Korea..
Her citizen ship would have been revoked when she got adopted
@@AG-ev3hj Revoked citizenship or not, South Korea *still* allowed her to play and represent South Korea.
