      Dan's Courses: ruclips.net/user/danscourses
      ITfreeTraining: ruclips.net/user/itfreetraining
Both have a good selection of IPv6 videos. Both authors do a really good job with technical subjects.
      Thanks for watching!

Hey Lowell! I hope everything goes well in Florida :) I have a question for you: do you know, today in 2020, what are the Pros and Cons of disabling IPV6 on Windows servers and workstations? can we save CPU usage, or save some IP traffic, or can we expect some functions to not work anymore? Thanks!

Weather is great! Microsoft has been pretty consistent to Admins about not disabling IPv6. This article is their take on the subject. support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929852/guidance-for-configuring-ipv6-in-windows-for-advanced-users They prefer you make IPv4 a preference over IPv6 rather than disabling the protocol. Good to hear from you!

So, the new version of that corny joke would be: "There's no place like ::1"?
