I first heard of Lewis Capaldi before he actually had his first hit. He received an award for best newcomer and nobody knew who he was.
He fast became huge.
He suffers from tourettes and he sometimes gets a tick on stage and every time it happens the crowd has his back by continuing the songs for him.
He is absolutely hilarious as well, such a funny down to earth guy ❤

Few years on, hope you're doing well bud. Lost me Mum in '14, Father passed in '17, then an Aunt and 3 Grandparents checked out just before lockdowns. We spend so much time dealing with life while struggling to cope with death that we often forget to return to deal with it. It's partly the "Don't be afraid to lose people, be afraid of losing yourself trying to please others". This track amongst others; 'Monsters' by James Blunt and, to my mortal shame, Sugababes' 'Ugly' (hush, it reminds me of Mum) are part of an ongoing series of monthly bawling sessions helping to make up for "sucking it up" for work and everyone else at the time. Slowly getting further and further through the playlist before I break.
