Idk who is telling you that your not good enough or doing things wrong. But I can hear it in your voice and some of the things you say tell a story. Your doing great, you play good and that's why you have a lot of people watching you, who truly enjoy your content. You work hard and have a lovely voice. If people have a problem, they just don't understand.
If you just talk to the people you run into each time, you get friendship points. I was able to get close to full friendship with everyone without giving any gifts
The people in the game(npcs) have their jobs when you hover over them, it said that Benjamin was the Mayor, up near the top right of their card. Hope this helps in knowing who’s got what jobs!
Oh Shelab, sorry about the Quest from Mary Whitfield, what bad timing, she died. And yes Blackbeard was a pirate. So nice that you got to meet your Granddaughter Dora, she is cute. 💐
Splendiferous! Past mid winter, and so close to your second year! It's going to be super interesting to see how the second year compares to the first 😄 Edit: Ah dear, that's rather an interesting series of events with the mayor and the quest 😂
I actually do the fishing game. I found there are different fish at different locations and depending on what lure I’m using will depend on the fish I get. Also the time of day matters and the season I believe does too. I like the mini game, I also love Stardews fishing tho lol so maybe I’m just different.
Is your throat feeling any better Shelab? Also, were you able to sort everything with the Havendock video? Thank you so much for all of the wonderful content you put out!
I think they come for the 1st weekend in Winter, but not the later 2. It may be specifically for the Crafting Event, but I've gone through a couple of winters at this point and it was the same both times.
@@jessicarabbit1164 Hahaha~ No, we just happen to watch several of the same YTubers! I've been binging Shelab the past week and really enjoying her content.
At the Harvest Festival, I was setting up my display and when I finished, the girl next to me had smallpox. I got away, won the event. Had 7 quests at the time. Half the town got sick and went to bed so even though I had items to turn in quests, I couldn't find anyone. Lost half the town. My daughter got sick but recovered. Hubby passed along with many others. So what do ya do? Set a date, the day before his funeral and proposed that night to another. Lol (a little out of comfort zone but yeah, had to)
I'm not 100% certain but I thought it Said you needed 15 cranberries so you certainly had enough if I'm right. I think the quest broke when the original quest giver died. I could be wrong but thats what I think at the moment.
Didnt the devs say that won't happen? I could totally be wrong but if im thinking of the right people its a small team (2 people?) and they arent interested in trying to bring it to switch.
I don’t think they plan on console releases, at least right now from what I heard. Also idk if Nintendo would approve the game with all the stuff that’s in it lol, But I hope it does comes to switch one day.
I mean, you arent wrong but quite frankly that isn't enough reason for them to spend a huge amount of time and money getting this on the nintendo market. Plus im pretty sure they would esentially have to "make" the game allover again with different coding for the nintendo system. Is it fair? No. But thats their decision at this moment
Is there a way to have a more moden-looking "Christmas"? I mean, with lights, Santa Claus, etc? I so want to get this game, but prefer the American idea of holidays, since that's where I'm from.
This game is based on Massachusetts in the 1700's. The lights are candles, since there is no electricity and Santa Claus in his modern form is still over 100 years away in the future. So pretty sure a modern version of Christmas will not be implemented.
@@LadyShelab Maybe the game creator can put out a modern version, or allow for modding where something like this can be created. I appreciate both anyway :D
I think potions sell for over 100 but I don't know how hard they are to make. Depending on the creation process and expenses, potions could be very profitable. Unfortunately I don't see anyone doing much with potions so it's hard to say. I wish someone would show stuff with potion making. Even if it's not something the keep doing they could show why people aren't making potions. I guess most people just don't like doing quest for the ghost to get the mana required for potions.
My favorite item in the game is a potion: Dissolve Disease. It instantly cure any disease you have in game, so I keep at least 1 on me at all times. I'm looking forward to the update where you can give them to your family to cure them. (At least if I'm not misunderstanding anything, that is in the works.)
Minor potion spoilers . . . . . . . There’s a potion that literally gives you 500 coins so no need to sell the potions at all. They’re all incredibly helpful and its uses far outweighs selling them. Plus the ingredients you need for some of the potions are a little difficult to get so I highly recommend either using the Instant Cash potion or just find another method of making money (best way is honestly fishing with fishing game turned off).

There is both a pirate ship and a regular ship. One is there every Sat and Sun *except* in winter, they seem to not always come in winter time.
