Thank you so much Laurel I really really enjoyed watching you create with the Gelli Plate. I really really love ❤️ all those print’s too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Hey Laurel, this was fun I have been gelli printing very much like you. I tune in and watch P & M Artist Studio they are a mother daughter duo on you tube who only basically play on the gelli plate. Patricia is the retired artist, and the tips are amazing. If you get time check them out, you will learn a lot. You give a lot of good tips and I love your enthusiasm. and I find watching your channel very inspirational TFS Hugs and Smile
Owner of Gel Plates for over a year. Mine are WAY cleaner than yours!l [that's what happens when you watch tons of how to RUclips posts but never take the plates out o' their storage cases!] But you inspired me, so I'm-a-gonna get 'em out & ... do me some creatin' !! Thanks for encouraging me to jump in & have myself a "jus' do it already" Nike moment. Always appreciate your funny yet no nonsense videos. ;-)
Gel printing is fun!! If I don't like a print I often work on the paper directly instead of going back to the plate. My only issue is that I end up with a ton of backgrounds. I am working through some of my backgrounds now.
I watch Carolyn D too. Think the purple and pink gel plate dried faster because the paint was rolled on thinner. That's also why the was more turquoise paint transfer to the purple and pink plate, thicker turquoise paint.
Ohhh I've never done that before! That would be fun. Just make sure to rinse your plate off when you are done! Do let me know how they turn out! What a great idea!

Thx Laurel there's always something to learn from your videos.have a great week
Loooove gel printing so much. I usually do a stack while I have all the plates and paint out.
Yes when you've got it all out, go to town I say!
Very interesting . I’m going to try this tomorrow ❤
I've used paper doilies and lace on gel plates before, which acted like stencils. Can highly recommend them!
Thats a great idea and some great pattern and texture on the plate!

The one you thought looked plain then added stencil and brayer to is actually my favourite!! 😄 funny how that works eh!?! Thanks for sharing!
Right?!
I'd love to see your cards!
A video went up right after this one showing you some cards!
What do I think? I think I bought one at Goodwill for $2.99 and haven't had time to get out and play with it. I will, it looks like fun.
How awesome you got one for so cheap!!!!!

Thank you laurel! Was thinking of using lunar paste or my nuvo dream drops to print… what do you think?
