On November 18th of 2020, I was listening to the Worthlessness Selected album while traveling north on I-17 in Phoenix at around Midnight. I fell asleep to the soothing atmosphere and collided with the center barrier at 80mph. I survived and I'm glad you made a car accident track for me to reflect on how I should've died
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels as though her tracks are somehow personalised.
I’m so sorry to hear that I hope you are healing ❤️ although this might sound so intense but, I feel this was the universes way of telling you that it’s supporting you, I hope you find clarity on your situation and healing if you haven’t already ✨
Fellow Arizonan, I'm glad you're still here with us. Stay safe in this hellscape bro.
Weather in Phoenix been hell
Holy shit....
the drawings for every song really adds to it
NYOOOOOM *crash*
i think it detracts, not to be a downer but i think the viewcount (especially compared to other songs jvne has) really reflects how important the visuals are, at least to draw listeners in. But for everytime she misses the visuals, she nails it twice
@@regg41 i think that's the point, it's like a really sobering moment looks awful in comparison
I can't tell if the person is smilling or if that line is part of the sketch
@@regg41but the art is similar to everything else on this album, I think it’s just the RUclips algorithm being the RUclips algorithm.
god the ambient synthwork. this is like a whole new vibe of psychedelic music
You might like 'everywhere at the end of time'
Its distortion sound scape music (I think that's the term but here is a big warning to take that with a grain of salt) based around the development of dementia and I think its utterly horrifying, but incredible in what it is
@@grumpybufo "Sadly, the future is no longer what it was" is an album that is far more similar to Car Accident and was also made by The Caretaker (or Leyland Kirby, his real name).
Most of the songs are piano ambient, but a few of them contain aggressive chaotic sounds that blend together into an uneasy ambience.
My favorite tracks being "The sound of music vanishing" and "Stay light, there is a rainbow a coming".
This feels oddly specific and satisfying to me since this feels exactly like being surrounded by shattered glass and slowly getting pushed back by the airbag until there's nothing but complete silence, these are the kind of things that make me love every album from jvnko you can always find something that connects with you
The distorted voice and the atmosphere, the low tones, makes me feel a deep, primal terror in me that I haven't felt since I was a child.
It feels like my brain is breaking down, like my very consciousness is dying, and seeing my connection with the world slowly being severed as my body and mind begins to decay, all I can process is a low, deformed, distorted male voice that sounds like it's desperately trying to communicate with me.
I absolutely adore this.
Thank you so much for this. Its letting me delve into the further beyond
perfect description
Most of the lyrics:
"I just died in a car accident, and this is what i'm thinking As I'm dying... As i'm dying... This is not that bad. [I expected this (?)] I kind of deserve it. I think I've done enough damage, already. And, uh, not as much as I would have like to have done, but, I really [am an A class fucker (?)] and I needed this, I needed to wise-up. So, fine, [I guess now I'll regret it (?)] that my [actions] was really ...?... thursday and..?...?????"
then it gets way too hard to understand even with editing. I was just too curious not to check out what they were saying through the power of editing.
Found a site that seems to have the lyrics right,
"I just died in a car accident and this is what I'm thinking as I die- as I'm dying
This is not that bad. I expected this, I kinda deserve it, and I think I've done enough damage already
Not as much as I would've liked to have done, but I really am an A-class fucker, and I needed this
I needed to wise up. So, fine
I guess my only regret is that my accident was with a wall or a telephone pole or a Jersey Barrier and not with a minivan full of a family. I think the perfect way for me to die would be in conjunction with seven other people, five of them children, two of them Mom & Dad"
and now you';ll hear the lyrics as you read it

this is genuinely one of the best ambient tracks i have ever heard. every time it comes on i have no choice but to stop what im doing, crank the volume high enough to make my ears bleed, and get lost in the soundscapes. i've heard very few tracks that compare. incredible.
The atmosphere in this one is absolutely amazing.

On November 18th of 2021, I lost one of my very best friends on an accident.
I feel dead.
This isn't right.
How are you now
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you’re doing better
This album is every bit as intense as I had hoped. Not much music makes me feel anything like your work does. Thank you, Sewerslvt.

I had one while listening to Worthlessness Selected
@@dandula3378 ok how many people have had car accidents while listening to sewerslvt!?
@@Null-value ikr what the hell 3 or 4 people now
Back in 2016 I was hit by a car while I was crossing at an intersection. Broke both my legs, was confined to a hospital room for a week, bed-ridden for two months, spent half a year relearning how to walk. The doctors flat-out told me early-onset arthritis and limited mobility would be a life-long ordeal, and boy were they right.
First time I listened to this track, really made me reflect back on all that
This song and its title are apt descriptions of an experience I had about 13 years ago. Things I learned from that: 1; slow down on wet roads and 2; FWD cars can't drift.
Strangely makes me feel nostalgic of my own car accident, or the weird feeling that came with it. It was just so strange to get out of the broken down wreck in one piece, with everything around being so peaceful in contrast. When it was hurting everywhere and yet, the shock was so sudden that your brain didn't adapt to the situation, therefore you didn't care about the pain, it was here but aside. At that moment I just cared about finding back the stuff I lost in the accident and go home, by foot, as if nothing happened. It's so surreal, like you're in a dream and don't know how to react. That song makes me live this surreal moment, when you know what actually happened but still can't process it, until the realization comes later.
2:07 AM and this song HIT DIFFERENT
first ever song that made me cry. This has huge power.
Sounds like terrifying music if you've been through a traumatic car accident
I want to know how you make this music to achieve these feelings through music. I have no words it rips out my guts, immerses me into this situation, surrounds me with these unique feelings. I aspire to be as creative as you one day.
"This is Fine"
listening to this for the first time felt so chilling, yet comforting at the same time, this is amazing.
this is.....surreal. An experience. Much like your other works of course.

I once almost drowned in a pool, and yes, this similar to what if felt like when I accepted that I was about to die.
feels as if your mind is leaving your body as you slowly fade away in death in a car accident into a wall or jersey barrier
I’m not really into ambient music but damn Jvne guess you proved me wrong

Did she sample Animal Collective cuz I hear My Girls
whats the background talk from
feel like i've heard from a video or news or smethin
I think the voice is from SAM (a voice synthesizer from the 80s)
It kinda sounds like they're talking about either themselves having died, or that they should have died, or that someone else died. "Not done as much as I would have liked to" made me think they were already dead, but it also sounded like they said "i should've died"
Reminds me of that snowing album art

i love how it sounds like a trevor henderson song , even if he never did music anymore.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was inspired by Seawall from the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack.
