Mine is on the right side of my boat and most of my big fish are caught on the left side not all but most. Kinda odd.I mostly suspend fish on the lake to many boats for any thing else. I'm still for that 60plus blue I caught a 65.4 flathead. My biggest blue is 55. Good luck on your next trip.
@@anthonysmith3741 Yea that’s wild lol I’m sure that pinging would affect them. A lot of fishing pressure where I fish so I’m sure they are fish finder shy. I’m definitely turning mine off the next time just to see 👍
It’s not as big as those . But a 10/0 kahle hook may work good for suspending baits . I use 1-2/0 on my noodles and they work awsome . My noodles are for big fish but I fish 3 hooks on them from the bottom up when I fish them . And they hook the fish really good .
You can buy one of the umbrella that clamps to the camera pole to help keep camera cooler , runnning an external battery with the main battery still in will help with keeping it cool . Laying a damp cold rag on it also without blocking the view will keep camera cool you’ll need to keep cooling the rag off periodically. Also if a clamp on pole battery fan on low speed giving the camera breeze to keep cool I do not know how the fan will affect audio just ideas
@@slabslayer258 Yes sir I have an umbrella mainly for rain but I had actually forgot it on this trip. My trips are short lived when it’s 90 degrees at 7:30am so it worked out until the bite shut down. Thanks for watching 👍
Do those hooks run true to size I have been using cat max 9/0 and they are ok. But want to try some a little bigger. I was looking at the 10/0 and12/0. Have you tried the 10/0?
@@anthonysmith3741 Yeah they are pretty much true sized if not a little bigger. I did buy some once from a company and the 10/0 were the size of most 8/0. I use the 10/0 for dragging baits and anchoring and 12/0 for suspending.
@@anthonysmith3741 Lol yes sir I do. The only thing that makes a difference in my opinion is the transducer is on the other side.
