Not on my priority list atm, but its something I want to get done sometime soon
as far as I've seen so far a single world painter tutorial for a good map would take hours... there are some series out there that have like 40 parts or something :x
just the setup with allthe custom brushes, layers, trees and whatnot is a ton of work :x

I think one thing we don’t see a lot when following builders’ series of building kingdoms/cities/towns etc is the actual world they’re building in. Zooming out like this can give us a greater appreciation for the world builders like Viggo are creating. That’s another reason why I love videos like this, aside from loving map designing and creating distinct regions! Awesome work man!

Amazing map! Can't wait to see what things you will build on this map :) Could you tell me how did you transform for example trees to worldpainter schematics? Or any blocks from CR, is there a tutorial or something? Greetings from Poland! :D
The schematics are like any normal schematic. Use WE to create a schem. In worldpainter create a custom object layer and find the schem file. For other blocks you use custom blocks and the id for the block you want

Hi man, i was wondering if youll ever do a worldpainter tutorial on how to make custom biomes with oh the biomes youll go mod. im new to minecraft and really bad at technology. everything seems complicated. i was wondering if ifs possible to create just a custom map and landscape without adding trees and let the mod to the magic? or does custom trees will regrow the same exact model when its chopped? so many question to ask.. sorry for this
Hi! Im no expert in custom biomes sorry. Also, conquest reforged trees will not regrow I think

Depends on how many different blocks there is in a chunk

Is there any easy way to load a world that big into a server? I know export but that kills my CPU and will take hours.

2. Does this works on bedrock?
3. Does it requires high end pc to Build the terrian?

You can make it as big as you like but bigger it the longer it will take to export 2 you can use Java to bedrock converter online 3 and no it does not

I love watching worldpainter videos, but without a doubt you are one of those who builds as realistic as possible, and those maps are incredible, I don't even know very well what you do with your maps but-
It would be great to download them and explore the realistic worlds you make.

That's a good looking map! Really liking the varieties of custom materials and layers. Just have no idea how you get such good looking mountains just using worldpainter

Hey viggoman I want to build a castle but I don't know how many styles are there to select from for example bohemian etc. so it would be cool if you create a video on different styles of castles
There are infinite styles. Castles are often built over long periods of time and with many different architectural styles. There are genres, and subgenres etc. plus ee have fantasy styles. But a video of general castle ideas would be cool
Do you have a unified sea level on your world maps? If I was to start on one download, then decide I wanted another continent, could I just drop another world into worldpainter and stitch them together? Or does sea level vary?
Honestly I dont know! Probably varies some. But that is something to consider in the future

not very impressive as far as WP goes. Also doesn't help that it looks so rushed, it looks like you made it all in only a few hours and cut corners
