معلولا وصيدنايا Maaloula & Sydnaia.asx

Maaloula, and Seidnaya are villages located near Damascus Syria in the Anti Lebanon Mountains. These villages are of great importance to the Christian faith.
Maaloula
By far, the most important Christian site in Syria, is the magnificent village of Maaloula. In Syria it means "the entrance", probably referring to the gorge in between the mountains. Maaloula is the only village in the world that still speaks Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ
Seidnaya
This village, where houses are built around a rock with a very old monastery at the top, is considered a place for religious pilgrimage. A steep climb is the only way up to the monastery, which is said to date back to the Emperor Justinian.

I am thankful to have visited this beautiful sanctuary of a village back in 1999. I cried upon departing it's blessed ground's. May Allah protect and preserve this slice of paradise forever insha'allah 🙏

خیلی قشنگ بود در همون سالها به سوریه رفتیم وخیلی عکس وفیلم گرفتیم ولی متاسفانه همه اونها از دوربینم پاک شد ازاون جایی که مناطق تاریخی را خیلی دوست دارم خاطرات را دوباره برام زنده کرد ولی افسوس که در اثر جنگ داعش وافکار دوران وستایی آنها ویران گردیده .تمامی اون سلیبها ومجسمه ها وکلیساها که قدمت چند صد ساله داره از بین رفته ولی همه اینها دوباره ساخته خواده شد فقط لکه ننگی از عاملان این تخریب در تاریخ باقی خواهد ماند
