I love Robin Hobbs writing. There are lots and lots of words but everyone is worth it. I never feel there is any wasted pages I think it is what makes her Realm of the Elderlings world so rich!

I've watched so much for your reading vlogs today, in my attempt to catch up with your videos! Haha, this is so much fun! I forgot how much I LOOOOVE your channel!
I got to do some book drops for a middle grade book that a client wrote when I first ever got into marketing. It was fun :D Ended up making friends with a dude who runs a museum I've never visited because one of the books ended up there haha. I read The Hate U Give at the end of last month and really enjoyed it, I was like, "Finally, something that lives up to the hype."

Thank you for the quick overview of annotating, and more importantly, sharing the index card idea! I love it! Also, I started Assassins Apprentice last night and only read one chapter. I too thought the same exact thing when I opened it. DAUNTING lol! I am in the US so I won't be able to join you for the readalong get together but am happy to read the book with you guys! Although, I am quite behind already!
'you're charming' haha!! I don't know if you'd be able to get these in Australia, but I use lined post it/sticky notes.... I'm mildly obsessed, they're stuck everywhere in my planner, and I think they'd work really well for notes in books, they aren't as bulky as the cards you were using!

Where did you find the audiobook for The Hate U Give? I'm Australian and the only version available in the Audible store is the Danish version!
I have yet to read Red Queen. I will have to pick it up but I have soooo many books I'm currently working my way through.

I had to DNF The Hate You Give because I compleatly couldn't get into the writing style! I think all the hypemade my expectations too much :/ It could be a great plot but I thought the main character came across as snooty and up herself (I only read the first 20-ish pages) and the desrriptions and events sounded bland and dull. I hope you like it :)
