Will you be fine if any male member gets aquitted after 4-5 years for doing nothing? And the woman walking Scott free without any punishment? Not only that, there is no law for domestic violence against men, no law for sexual violence against men, no law to protect dignity of a man. Even marital rape discussion was just on assumption that only women has right of consent. Custody laws are almost always in favor of women. Men are supposed to maintain wife even she did adultery. I don't understand how even after this, some 7-8 years experienced lawyer has guts to say that Indian laws favour men lol.
Riya actually there is a correction, in certain cases, the husband can demand maintenance from his wife infect in the past, many such judgments have also been delivered by the courts, one of them is Bombay High Court's judgement, in which the decision of maintenance of Rs 3000 under section 24 25 of the Hindu Marriage Act was passed by the single bench of Justice Bharati Dangre. in that judgement court allowed husband to take maintenance from his wife....
@@riyaupreti it's very rare though. Maintenance to husband is only granted if he is seriously ill, handicapped, bed ridden, and can't earn his money because he is unable to work in normal condition. Also the wife needs to be earning. Otherwise no maintenance to husband.
Husband can demand maintenance only when he is physically or mentally incapable. Unlike wives, which can even ask for maintaince even when she is earning. Don't believe me? Read some SC/HC judgements.
