At your first fatigue, did you need to roll that 5? The way I understand the fatigue action is since you flipped the die, that would be like the new dice roll. So you flipped to a 5 and since no combo you now have the option of reducing either die. Otherwise flipping the die is pointless because there will never be a combo, since the fatigue spot has no icons. Does that make sense?
Ah, never mind I found the answer in an FAQ. You did it correctly: “If there is a fatigue or reaction ability on the space that you reduced to, resolve the action. If no combo results from the fatigue or reaction, pick up the other die and re-roll it as usual.”
You can only have one of each of the upgrades. If you have them both and you combo twin stars, you'll need to either use one of the upgrades or just pass. If you have a shield deployed and you get a twin stars combo, you can't get another shield. Think of it as you only have one token of each upgrade, so to use or to upgrade you have to have that token out of play and available.
Thanks for this! I may be mistaken by I think your first skill check roll at the end of wave 4 was a success? 4 on Tarla and 2 on Hebolt.

Is a sector the spot between two locations on the card?
Sectors are the numbered lines :)
More than one fighter can be on the same line?
Of course! Where else do they go if you roll the same number multiple times? ;-)
@@MattUpton however you only take one damage if that number is rolled regardless of how many are there.
If you wat to take one damage per ship in that location, go ahead! Call it hard mode 😉
