What makes them infectious is that they are full of joy. They love what they are doing, and perform like it. They respect themselves and the music, and because of that they are showing respect to the fans. Every show they give 100%, because nothing else would be acceptable.
Might be one of my favorite bass lines Ale wrote. Dany can shred with the guitar greats if the song calls for a guitar solo. Not a wasted note in any of their songs.
“Something about these ladies is infectious.” That would be the X-factor that they possess in spades. There are plenty of talented musicians in the world who never leave the basement. DPA just have that something extra. It’s about more than just musical chops, it’s that ability to captivate an audience and keep them engaged from start to finish, to make them feel like they’re a part of something special. That’s something that The Warning excels at.
"Z" dives into the struggles of Gen Z, addressing feelings of loneliness, mental health challenges, and the overwhelming influence of social media. It highlights the pressure to conform in a world where much of what’s presented as truth isn’t genuine. The song critiques blind participation in trends and the way society often pits generations against each other, questioning who gets blamed for the world's issues. The repeated "I think that we should" at the end feels like both a call to action and a moment of doubt. It captures the uncertainty and hesitation that come with trying to break free from deeply ingrained cycles. The song ultimately warns that without reflection and change, these patterns will continue to repeat. "Z" was originally part of MAYDAY, released on October 8, 2021, as a 6-song EP, and later included on ERROR, The Warning's full-length album released on June 24, 2022. Interestingly, it’s the only track from MAYDAY that wasn’t released as a single.
If you peek at The Warning's video channel you will see the Pepsi Center thumbnails have a small number in the lower right corner that is the songs placement in the set list. "Disciple" was 01, "Z" was 02, and as noted, "Choke" is next at 03. www.youtube.com/@TheWarning/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=2
For a fun viewing, let's go back to 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15 and Ale was 12. This will blow your mind. ruclips.net/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/видео.html Just a reminder, they write all their own songs.
Welcome to rock and roll in the XXI Century Deezy!!! Just subbed for more!!! Love love love this song, in my top 50 Warning songs, cannot pick a favorite. Cheers.
The Warning are 10 year veterans now. They have a body work. Play any song and your good to go. Different genres pop up too, REVENANT LIVE, P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C, and some early pop rock , and a bunch of covers.
They have a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene. The songs Queen of the Murder Scene (obviously), Dust to Dust and Dull Knives are from it. It is a great album and tells the story of unreturned love, murder and madness with a prologue (Dust to Dust) and four chapters. It is well worth listening to it in order! They have a concert (Lunario) on their YT channel where they live debut the album. (They use some songs from their previous album, XXI Century Blood, to fill between the breaks in the concept album.)
@@DEEZYreact lol. Actually one of the first ones I heard. I just like the bass line and flow of the song. heard all their songs and this is still my favorite.
Speaking of "infectious" and that other type of "Z", we have all become INFECTED by TW (and we do not want the antidote)! Keep the reactions comin' and break out one of those Axes for us to show us what you got! Every TWA Member will have a favorite as to Dany's greatest "guitar work", but one (1) of mine is...TW's cover of ATLAS RISE at Whisky a GoGo! React to it and let us know what you think! ⚡🔥⚡Check it here...ruclips.net/video/fhhG5EiFiyA/видео.htmlsi=LeWEhDp8xC9NR3Kz
That Atlas Rise cover is spectacular and well worth a reaction. 2019 they were all teenagers at the time, and this was the encore at the end of a 22-song set. They were exhausted but still absolutely rocked it!
Nice reaction, the next song is Choke! You might want to do the whole concert video song by song, instead of the individual song videos! That way you won’t miss any talking with the crowd, plus whenever they talk to the crowd in Spanish, it will be interpreted in English subtitles!! There are some songs coming up that will give you a better appreciation of why they are on the set list when put into context by them!!!😊🎶⚡️
The individual videos of these songs are numbered on the thumbnails... But you should play them from the full concert video, because the Spanish dialogue is translated and burned into the video in English where it most matters. The entire show is excellent. I've seen it several times. There are rock shows on RUclips that are as good, but none better. At this level, it's all opinions. These ladies are THERE. Their Pol'and'Rock and Teratata videos are great too, but may be blocked from reactions.
Apart from sounding great, that blue Specter bass is spectacularly beautiful (not to say anything about the lady wielding it 😉) As one of the few exceptions, I actually like the Teatro Metropolitan version of Z better. Go watch it at some point - it's the show opener there and the swagger of Pau as she opens on drums alone and Ale when she comes casually strolling in banging that bass line out is phenomenal!
Very punk infused. They blend it all together and make their own genre. Infectious? yes. Thats why I say to all the new reactors..."Welcome to the addiction". I think you are ready for "Queen of the Murder Scene" from the Teatro Metropolitan show. They dont play it at the Pepsi Center.
!!!EXCELLENT¡¡¡ recommend the following live video of them Greetings from Argentina: The Warning - Dust To Dust/Dull Knives (Cut Better) (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX) ruclips.net/video/EzA3SWkeYd8/видео.html&ab_channel=TheWarning

That's why they are real rock stars.
Yep ... they genuinely feel the music every night out.

Thank you!

That's a deep concept and makes me appreciate the song even more.
Yep, The Warning are infectious -- and there's no cure! 🤣
Choke is next. Keep your eyes on Ale.
He's already done Choke, but just the official music video. Here's his playlist for The Warning: ruclips.net/p/PLtg0ILtsZ_fu2EDdILljy9TVnvknHdZmC
Thanks, Craig. I feel like I should probably do the live version anyway
@@DEEZYreact Agreed! As everyone says, "Live is their superppwer".

@@terrylowther7584 Yes we all love it when Ale gets her moment in the spotlight as it is so rare and wonderful.

Lol you got it!
Ale said that this is their easiest song to play bass, but I think it's very effective.
Sometimes that's all you need.

I recommend XXI Century Blood OMV + Pepsi Live Double feature. They not only make great music but also great music videos since the beginning!
Great recommendation!
Yes, they are special! What next? You have done 1 and 2, just continue with song No 3 on the show: “CHOKE”, amazing song also!
I will soon! I already did the official music video for Choke as it was my first ever reaction to The Warning.
When you get to Breathe and When I'm Alone make sure you have captions turned on.
Thanks for the heads up!
Dany's best solo, IMHO.
Best so far for me.
This has been the opener for a couple years, this year they opened with S!CK and then played Z next
