I remember buying a Tall Paul album (which I unfortunately no longer have) late 90's, there or thereabouts and it was basically a compendium of all his bangers under his own name and his alias Camisra (I think?). I don't think it was mixed but it had some absolute scorchers on it and some brilliant remixes.

So you were about 10 when the scene was at its height. Too young.
Started local clubs around '90/'91 with playing with knives. On through Helter Skelter,Dreamscape and FANTAZIA etc. Matured thru Trade,Turnmills and Peach at Camden Palace. Got my dose of D&B at fabric,SW1. Then top that off with the occasional festivals,creamfields,MOS And Leeds love Parade. Its a miracle that im still here after chugging the necessary at each and every event but I wouldnt change all that for a millon quid. Best music education of all time. My kids think im doolally when i pull out my old Technics 1210s and wake up the local area. Love each and every one of u or maybe thats the residue left over from excess! 😙🤑😲😜😖🤤😨😬😇😃🤣😂😂

2019 and this is still up there as one of the best compilations of its time! Can’t believe its over 20yrs old! Defined an era from ‘97-‘01. Mixing, DJs, Music, Emotion, Energy this time period had the lot. These tracks don’t sound out of place today they are that good. Cream, Gatecrasher and Ministry of Sound as examples endorsed some of the best music and still do (albeit not as good imo) today. The younger generation stumbling across these albums today are very lucky, because as cliche as the saying is, this music isn’t made like it was anymore. Good memories, good times. Enjoy it! ❤️

Nothing beats the sound of vinyl mixing. DJing has went to shit now with this computerised laptop mixing shite.
This is as close as professional mixing as I've ever heard, practically without any error. Nothing beats Technics turntables, I know very well what you mean.
I can't have these dickheads standing over a pre mixed DJ set a piece of software on a PC done for them. They arrive, plug a laptop in and then point to the sky for 2 hours doing fuck all. Calvin Harris and David Guetta ruined dance music.
Alan, who in sam's hell is Calvin Harris? I kinda stopped listening to dance music at around 2002-2003, rap-hip/hop-funk-blues/R&B right up to the point when they ruined it by bringing dub-step, rave & drum and bass into the chill music that I loved so much. I even started to appreciate classical music for crying out loud lol!

Please could somebody tell me how you upload a mix like this without any gaps or clicks appearing between the track increments ofthe original cd? Please?!??
you need either the CD ripped as a one track, or you can join them as single file using foobar2000 (select all tracks/right click/convert/destination/merge all tracks into one output file). for this you need the tracks in flac or wav format.
for some reason if you join mp3s into a single track this doesn't work, you'll end up with a short silence after each track.
This is very similar to Pete tong summer '98 strawberry mix cd 2
