- 8 ways to know for sure that it’s a dating scam. I think that very often, we already know, before we know, that this new relationship is not real and we are probably talking to a dating scammer. Today’s episode shares eight signs where you will be able to say to yourself, “Yes, It IS a Dating scam!”
Over the last few years, it has become one of my missions to continue talking about romance, scams, dating cams, dating fraud, and cat fishing -to spread the word and help prevent people from falling victim to these horrible people who want to scam and take advantage of loneliness. I'm a guy and rule number one for women. Money cant buy Love. If a guy ever asks for money walk away. Too many real men out there.
Same rule for men. Never send money to women you meet on the Internet. it’s almost a 50-50 split between men and women being scammed by dating fraud.
When a "woman" asks for money I always tell them that I only give money to women that I have (knowing that I will never meet them) and it's nothing personal. When they try to tell me how honest and trustworthy they are, lol. I repeat my line, it's nothing personal.

it’s definitely hard to understand but if you watch the episode on the character traits of people who get scammed, it’s easier to see how it happens
Good advice. There's lots of scammers out there. That is why I am leery of talking to people on the Internet that I don't know.
I have a question about #8. Why? Why must you meet within a week? I think one week is hardly enough time to decide if I ever want to meet them, let alone plan a time and place to meet.
because if they’re not available to meet you within a week, they’re probably not a real person. They are a scammer. Most of us use the apps just to make plans not text back-and-forth for weeks and weeks. It’s not a communication tool. It’s a matching tool. you’re not supposed to determine if they are a match by talking on the apps you’re supposed to do that by meeting in person.
Thank you for sharing this advice. There was a guy who contacted me once on Facebook, told me he was a famous film star. I can't remember the name he used. Total fake. I ended the conversation quick and blocked him.

I don't beieve the Love bombers..cos that's what Scammers do from the start! Or Pervs will ask you your Bra size immediately too! I'm not lonely at all..I take it as a game, and if one of them sounds real..I sit there and read their Texts to see the little Red flags, like little weird grammer details that are telltail signs. Like using Am, instead of I'm.. Yep, they usually use really attractive Profile Pics. Yep, the famous ones (supposedly) are mostly on Instagram, and yes they're all Fake.🤔
