Most of the universities don't require math for the admission to MSc chemistry. Also, you don't need math to appear in IIT-JAM but once the JAM is qualified, some IITs need Maths for MSc chemistry admission others don't. Furthermore, most of the universities that require math, require in 12th and not in bsc. very few universities require math in 12th as well as in bsc; you will have to check the information brochure of that particular university first.

no heena .... Chemistry is must in B.Sc course to pursue M.Sc chemistry.... there may be some universities as exception.

It is compulsory but rules change with time... you should check brochure this time if this happens
