    She's big country down there my bro. Respect for cracking on and getting up there - that's a serious climb with that pack and rifle. I'll stick to our little bush clad hills here in the lower north island for now 🤣🤣

    Nice content, reminds me of my previous NZ hunts , inspired me to get back out there .
    Ballsy to not bring a bivy bag out there .
    I have found that tahr and chamois are low in the spring and summer months . Can be tough to find with all the aerial culling they have there though.

      No tahr in that area apparently, the chamois were definitely at lower elevations.

    It's wild Country alright mate not like the Alpine Country in Vic and NSW but back Country hunting is a challenge no matter were you go and there will always be challenges thrown at you.
