This is a fantastic video, Lee! I've watched a majority of your training videos and I really enjoy listening to you converse with the younger players. Your dialogue with Santi at 15:10 is class! As coaches, we have to make sure the players know WHY we want them to do things a certain way and how it relates to an in-game situation. I enjoy watching coaches coach so that I can continue to learn and improve. I have been taking note of the phrases that you use and the constant positive, and constructive, feedback that you give the players and try to implement them in my training sessions. (On a side note, my daughter and I now exchange "how's your touch?" to each other when training together.) I truly believe that constant, positive feedback from a coach eventually becomes a voice in the player's head during games letting them know not only what to do, but giving them the calming confidence that they CAN do it!
love the lead, love the push, love the communication and lastly its joy to watch. Keep it up. I have a 8year old who I am willing to devote my time to train and develop myself. This is a great help. Thank you.
Great Training Session, i love it to training my Son with the Color and Numbers. Best Individuell Trainer what i see in the net. greatings from Germany
Amazing how different it is from Portugal. Here at that age we focus on technical aspects rather than phisical or táctics. Every exercise is done with a ball because they feel less tired.
Before I watch this video... I'd like to say all the drills in world won't work unless the player, comprehensive information, can transient from drills to playing in real game. Skills yes, using under pressure, game time, angles, forward thinking ingredients maybe needed. Teach someone fundamentals all day long but if they never played before it's hard to comprehend or learn someone the veiw you have or use when you play or your team. You see the game differently. So what I'm saying is teaching someone skills is great but being able to apply those skills even better. A kid can be great at practicing skills but not so much in game time. Your videos are on point spectacular even to learn skills, but that doesn't always help us out with the transition from one to apply to the other. Hope this helps
Without the fundamental skills, you will only be running around in the game. First thing first, learn the skills because skills are informations that you apply during the game.. I hope this is helpful to your understanding of football?
How are you? I follow you on your RUclips channel. I have an 8-year-old child and I want to develop it in football. Do you have training classes in your country? I can come to you. I am from Saudi Arabia .. Greetings, my brother.
Great training video! My 6 year son Sal's latest video is him practicing passing, shooting and dribbling with the ball. Please have a look at his videos.
I'm guessing that yous watch videos with players just to explain or touch on what is meant or what you mean exactly so they could understand, I know it sounds like Monday morning quaterbacking, just trying to help Sir
Has anyone used the Episoketren System to improve your soccer technique? Simply just do a google search. On there you'll find a great tips about how exactly you can improve your soccer game. Why not give it a chance? perhaps it will work for you too.
If I might add, most young players do not warm up, stretch up to 20sec. Or so just to let the muscles know hey going to be using you... youth is great but this transitions over to when they get older and injures especially the knees... so it's important to cool down plus stretch and some added excercise, some even yoga huge impact, just a thought
Dwaipayan Datta Roy yo bro I’m posting content for young ballers, who wants to see just a day in a life or training sessions of a footballer. Check it out if you Interested boss 🙌🏽
how would you rank this 9 year old vs others that play club soccer? Asking a rating 1 to 10 as my 8 years isnt as good but I would love to believe if he keeps up that he will be close in the next 10 to 14 months. Thanks for anyones opinion on this
I really admire this kids attitude, showed good character after battling with the passing, scanning drill. You cannot become a pro without persevering
