That was a tough scene
And Robert Downey Jr.’s performance was amazing
Was this in endgame? (Sorry I haven’t seen it yet I’ve already got spoiled lol)

spider man's death hit me hard. If you think about it, everybody else was there fully aware that they might die and most of them had lost so much they kinda HAD to fight, but spider man didn't ask to save the world, he was a teenager with a genuinely pure heart who wanted to see a brighter future but got involved in something big and was doing his best to help
This is true, but then again Thanos wiped half of all living things away so even if Peter wasnt on Titan he probably would have been snapped anyway
@@SaNdRiiS1401 but to be honest, it was good that he was snapped. Think about it. Everyone Peter knew and loved, dead, gone, no more. And yet somehow, he's still there, just to wallow in his depression whilst trying to help. Think about how much this would have destroyed Peter. He could've been the non-symbiote wearing equivalent of the Peter from Spider-Man's Shadow (a world where after losing Aunt May, Peter decided to give in to the symbiote and kill his entire rouges gallery and injure those who threatened him and others to a heavy extent even to the point where he crushed triple J's arm!). So in a sense, dying to the snap was a good thing for him. Because dying as a person, would have killed him in ways far greater than physical death.
Edit: Grammar and the final sentence.
And he knew he was going to die because of his Peter tingle
Sorry, I understand your feeling, but this is NOT Peter Parker. Peter is way stronger than this MCU version.
@@bemlok he's going to get stronger
Ant man isn’t just a comedic heist film. It’s more about a dad trying his best to be with his daughter. He does go off track, and it leads into the superhero film, but to me it feels grounded in more reality than iron man, Thor or captain America. He’s not a billionaire, or a god, or a super soldier. He’s just a guy, trying his best. Thanks for listening to my ted talk
i enjoyed your ted talk, thank you
Jordan Hingoo *clap clap clap clap clap*
So, Jingle all the way
Ted X, I also agree with you. Both characters have completely different visions. Tony Stark wants to help people, Ant-Man (I forget his name) wanted to help his own family, and come closer to his daughter.
He was talking about tone, not theme. Thematically, yeah it might be more grounded, but the narrative devices used to achieve it were very different, where Ant Man was a comedy, and Iron Man was a tragedy, tonally.

Tony finally overcomes his grief and defeats the one person who gave him emotional scars.

People look at the MCU and see the flaws, and ONLY see the flaws, which is terrible, because yes, the MCU has flaws, and plot holes, and bad moments or writing, but considering that this is a 20 movie series, written by multiple different people at different times, I think that's pretty damn impressive that it's good at all. of course this universe will have flaws, that's expected, but honestly, after seeing the comics that it's inspired from, I think this is better than what we deserve. the MCU makes me happy, and I don't want people to try convince me otherwise

The MCU is the most expensive and successful soap opera the world has ever known.
exactly how I describe superheroes and comics in general. the story doesn't really matter, what matters is the unique character developments, the story can go as batshit crazy as needed to fuel said development.

Not really. Because I dislike Soap Operas. The MCU is actually pretty good in side-stepping the usual soap opera tropes. It is more a modern serial. And I love it for it!
The fact that characters are mostly consistent through DIFFERENT directors is a goddamn feat in itself. Star Wars destroyed that in 3 freaking sequels LOL

And shit like their trial by combat, their ancient AF weaponry (the spears and shite are stylish but they make no sense, its why the Russo Brothers retconned that shit in Infinity War), and their architectural designs really make no sense at all, and the fact that only the black panther can have the juice from the flower makes no sense as well. Speaking of which, how TF did T'chala even have the Black Panther powers in Civil War? Its like the writers forgot that movie existed when writing Wakanda, it just feels so divorced from the previous source material while ignoring all sorts of other considerations in terms of how a massively superior civilization would've grown.
Its still not as offensive as Captain America's writing quality (frankly, that movie is on par with The Predator from 2018), but its not exactly the best that's come out of Marvel. Its maybe a bit better than Thor 2, and that's only because of the visuals and the chemistry of the actors.

I love that scene in Far From Home at the beginning where we hear the student announcements going, "Are the Avengers even a thing anymore? Does anyone have a plan?" and the very fact that they asked these questions confirming that they have a plan.
One thing I really love about the MCU is that every character is relatable in certain ways and goes through actual problems and they aren't 1 dimensional. like I used to think Captain America was some perfect goody-two-shoes. But when you get into his movies he's like a real human with emotions and human relationships
ŁĕmonTårť I agree. Watching all three Captain America movies in a row made me realize this
it is one of the reasons why marvel grew to equal standings with DC comics.
DC focuses more on beings who are above mortal beings (at least in the movies since the comics actually shows them as people like how superman was born and raised as a human and being a super hero never changed that while the movie makes him turn cold and distant).
they make every god like being detached from mortal beings in the movies.
it is the main reason that the MCU has only had 2 out of 22 movies be a lesser success when compared to the other movies of the same franchise while DCU has several lesser successes as their peak while poorly representing the characters, going away from source material and basically ignoring what true readers of the comics know and love about the character.

MASSIVE ENDGAME SPOILERS:
Iron Man's death in Endgame meant more than just one of my favorite characters dying. It symbolized the end of my childhood. I was twelve when I saw the first Avengers movie. I'm 19, approaching 20 now. That's a little under 1/3 of my life spent loving and caring about the MCU and its characters. The fact that Iron Man now is dead, also means that my childhood has come to a close.
First Harry Potter, and now the Avengers. The only thing left for me to say is this: It's been the ride of a lifetime, and I praise my lucky stars that I was born in just the right time to grow up with these movies.
The loss of childhood, youth and innocence really is one of the most melancholic feelings in the world.
19 to 20 here as well dude, this is my childhood and the end of an era
I agree. For me Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the sunset of my childhood while Endgame is almost the sunset of my teenage days. Even though Steve is my favourite Avenger, Natasha and Tony's deaths hit me because it meant that it has come to an end. But yes, now Steve is old and he'll die of an old age. That makes me sad (but also happy because he finally got his happy ending with Peggy).
I'm really grateful to be born in 2000.
Samridhi Sharma Same but Thor was always my favorite. Then Iron man. That scene with “Proof that iron man has a heart” honestly made me cry. Not to be a pussy but 6 tears ran down my face as I saw an icon fall. An absolute genius who was lucky enough to see his father once more before finally passing away. I like the story of Tony more than any other including my favorite.
@@morseeinhd9898 I agree. Tbh, Tony had the best arc because he was the one who changed the most. And I was really saddened by his death.
The reason I like Steve more is because he's a symbol of liberty, freedom, ideals, loyalty, equality, values, dreams, principles and justice, and I want to have many of his good qualities. Plus I can relate with him more than I relate with any other character.
I'm speechless. From the moment you said, "Think about..." I knew I'd be a goner. I've been crying for solid minutes now. This perfectly expresses what I feel for and towards the MCU. The only issue with endgame is that I can't experience it for the first time again
I liked endgame but it was TOO wacky
After Infinity War, which is a cinematic masterpiece for many reasons such as villain, the cliffhanger done right, the serious tone, the battles, the humor fitting the movie, etc, Endgame had too many expectations and had to end the avengers in a powerful way that would rewrite the whole MCU as we knew it. The humor was good yet out of place with such high stakes and what should be a serious tone. The time travel plot felt cheap and way too convenient. Hulk dabbing. Fortnite. The disappointing character development such as Natasha who moped the whole movie and ended up just killing herself, Hulk just being there, Thors ending was meh it just felt rushed.
