I like it ! Been blending dubbing for leeches last few years and came up with a few winners myself. One of my favorites is Semperfli semperseal in Claret and Hoarders Bloody Black 50/50 and a pinch of pearl ice dub. It’s a killer leech color in the fall.

@@scorkmc Completely understand your comment - been tying for over 30 years. I haven't used wing fiber before, so was curios without seeing the width and other properties... though I have some ideas. Creativity is the best - just need Cheech to jump on the Jamieson bandwagon 🙂

Any good substitutes for the ice wing fiber until I can get my hands on some? UV Shrimp Ice Dub, flashabou, etc?
Thats the fun part about fly tying, if you dont have the specific material you just experiment with something you got and hope it works

No. There are a lot of different flash materials that work. Pink works great with the thin mint color
