This is awesome!! I see you use AFO's as well as KAFO's with the knee unlocked. Which do you find easier and why? I'm recovering from a SCI and hope to use braces soon.
Hi, Riley! Thanks for your comment! These are great questions. Personally, for ease of use, KAFOs allow me more freedom with my hands since they give more support. Long term, though, AFOs require more muscle function, so I'm working to switch and encourage muscles that are returning(!). Here's a video showing the KAFOs in more detail: ruclips.net/video/Ss1YmvNvrl8/видео.html. The other braces are lighter and can be unlocked KAFOs or AFOs (blog.cpolsley.com/2017/08/compare-and-contrast.html). I'm adding some new resources about getting and using braces; those will be on my blog soon (cpolsley.com). I'd love to talk with you about where you are with recovery and help in any way I can, so if you want to reach out on the contact page of the blog, please do, or post any questions you have here or there. All the best and be encouraged! :)
"I tip my hat to you; you are strong and deserve all the appreciation."

That's Amazing, which injury level you have? I am L1 complete, and no movement leg
