- Like many of you, our Christmas was pretty different this year (thanks 2020)! Our first Christmas was celebrated over a few days but still with lots of love. We started by celebrating with Dustin's family in Indianapolis. Then, we figured out Christmas on our own and made some of the best memories!

We are Keanna and Dustin! We are two elementary teachers dating long distance. Keanna lives in Atlanta and Dustin lives in Indianapolis. Keanna currently teaches fifth grade while Dustin is teaching fourth grade. We met through the wonderful world of Instagram and haven't looked back. We share our love, adventures, and everything in between.

We also did the long distance thing.. we've been married almost 23yrs now. And 4 kiddos later. That just a little piece of advice from someone that knows how lovely love is in the beginning. FRANGOS used to be a Christmas "staple" here in Seattle -- at a store called Frederick's and Nelson's Dept store. When the store closed several years ago -- shoppers went nuts and bought boxes and boxes of the candies. Now the "sweet" is nearly impossible to find. So Please Enjoy !!!

I think it's 34° farenheit. That is definitely cold. 34° celcius is hot.
@@Nyammings Even 34 degrees farenheit is hot for Canada in the winter. Have you been to the Province of Quebec? You have to wear a hat until the winter is gone.
I actually live in Canada, but is relative. 34°F is 'warm' when you've acclimated to minus 34°. But all in all it's still cold.

Yes Frango Mints were originally from Seattle but was sold in the 20's to Marshall Fields of Chicago doing the great depression. So since the 20's it's been an exclusive candy of Chicago's Marshall Fields stores and was actually made on the 13th floor of the flagship store in downtown Chicago. Frango Mints was considered a Chicago candy until Macy's bought The Marshall Fields stores in Chicago. And believe you me, Chicagoans are still grieving over that sale. So that's how Macy's now sell Frango mints.
Wow! We had no clue about the history of them. I don’t blame Chicagoans for grieving that sale, they’re so good!

And I almost forgot, the candy was originally called Franco Mints buts was changed in the 20's to Frango to personalize it to match the go in Chicago..

Frango mints originated from the Seattle store called FRedrick And Nelson (GOodness) who were bought by May's dept stores Bon Marche/Macy. The F&N restaurant used to make FrangoMint Shakes that tons of people would buy during the holidays. Enjoy!
