The Dutch TV company endemol was the one who made a lot of the famous reality TV shows and game shows in the Netherlands and then sold them on globally. If you ever travel and manage to catch the version of one of these reality TV shows in another country, it's astonishing how similar they are. They aren't really reality at all - it's all a format that creates fake hype to get reactions.

He didn't just claim there were VIP pedophiles, he claimed there were VIP inter-dimensional reptilian cannibal pedophiles who control the human race via holograms broadcast into the brain (I don't think he knows what a hologram is) from the rings of Saturn (actually artificial alien spacecraft) via their base in the hollowed-out moon. So let's keep things in perspective. Many people talked about pedophile rings in high places (Sinead O'conner, Corey Feldman, Hanibal Buress) without the benefit of an invasion of alien reptiles from another dimension, and no one thought they were crazy on account, so I'd say it's probably the "other stuff" that had people tittering. He also claimed the world would end in 97 and a string of other disasters that didn't happen, so let's not pretend he has a good track record.

The Seann Walsh Strictly one was just the sort of thing that the series has become known for since it restarted.
I mean seriously there isn't a year that goes by without at least one of the dance couples becoming physically if not romantically involved.
To be honest I have come to the conclusion that is the reason some of the contestants go on Strictly.
About high time the programme was axed.

I think wanting a program axed because the odd relationship goes for a Burton maybe they weren't healthy to begin with just a thought. Anyway you want to axe a show that gives pleasure to millions because of just a few people on it violate your sense of morality? Sorry no nice way of saying it ...miff off you selfish twonk!!

The only one I disagree with is Kim Woodburn, if anything she was able to capitalise on her infamy + has a strong following (especially in the gay community) and has some HILARIOUS merch which sells fairly well as far as I’m aware

I know David Icke as the lizard people guy, but I never knew he was actually a famous person for other things. I just assumed he was a famous lunatic. It was much harder to be well known as a lunatic before the internet, you see. I'm genuinely shocked. What caused the switch?

That was on Seann's girlfriend's birthday as well. She spent it alone while he was off snogging and groping his married dance partner.

I really enjoyed Terry Wogan, but I felt his handling of parts of the interview to be rather unnecessary.

He had a redo with Icke many years later and apologized for this interview, not in the least because Icke has since been right many times, he took him quite a bit more seriously the second time. Thing is, this was at the beginning of Icke's life changing events and he was rather overwhelmed by it all and yes, had this disastrous interview and would subsequently be ridiculed everywhere he went. In hindsight he considers it a blessing as it freed him of having to conform to other people's expectations.

@@voiceover2191 Wogan was a twat and no mistake and was intent on ridiculing Icke. However Icke was claiming some quite ridiculous things and they were the reason he was ridiculed.
What he should have done is waited till 2018 and then came out as gay at the same time so he would have been considered stunning and brave
